If you don't run the Nighthaunt warband as the malevolent spirits of all your other dead warband members, it will be a colossal missed opportunity.
Those Riverblades remind me of the Harlequins from 40k :)

Fun fact: in the UK, Mikey had a grapple hook on a rope, and they were called hero turtles, not ninja turtles. So makes sense they have a dude with a sickle on a rope. 😂
The Boiling Wrath ability only benefits from dead units in your battle group. With a war band of the leader and nothing but the Stream-runner chaff you could get up to 4 extra activations max. That’s still 2 rampages with 5” move that let you choose all your actions… for the low, low cost of ~1/3 of your war band and a quad 😅 Still seems very fun, looking forward to trying them out
Having watched the Kill Team review first, it was interesting to hear the points at the end, especially after the comment I left there.
There are whispers of a new edition of Kill Team after 4th Ed AoS drops. Perhaps the apparent rules bloat indicates that as well, and we'll get a now GW trademarked "simplified, not simple" redo.
I think the fact of having a separate terrain box is a must : as a new player, I will NEVER be able to get those big boxes of WarCry because they are not sold anymore. So basically, in order to play the game, I need people already playing it, this is very stupid…
All you need is the Warcry core game which is still in stock. These boxes only add to that one!

Every undead in AoS looks the same. No idea what the units in a ghost army are. No idea what the units in the ghoul army are. Because they're all visual noise that blends together.
GW really needs to step up their game if they want to stay competitive. While the minis are great, the whole package stinks again. Board games these days come with fitting trays for their minis, while GW ships sprues in flimsy Boxes. Why on earth does the game come without the pyre tokens, if they are an important mechanic? No dice, no rulers, no tokens, just cheap cardboard. Im not even complaining about missing terrain here, but Warcry could be so much better, if they would actually put work into it since its their best Rule-Set in my opinion.
