After watching that skit I'm kind of worried for Kanye. He was weird and reckless, but looking at him now and then I feel like he's kind of lost it.
Would love to see Kanye get behind the controls of Air Force One with Trump in it... He be like "Hold on Trumpie daddy... We gonna go flying like supaman!!! Because this red hat is powerful, and it's also the same color as the socialist hats in Venezuela!!! Shhheeeeeeoooowwwwwww!!!" Then they all crash into a mountain and then we can all move on.

@@nspector oh yeah I believe it's probably very stressful I mean it's all live and they pretty much nail it Everytime but there times that you can see a slip up but not much I guess it's like high stakes higher rewards
Oh, I think the performing part is mostly a huge rush. I was really talking about what I've read about the week leading up to the show we see on tv. It's CRAZY -- the endless hours, the intense competition to get your sketch picked, the last minute cuts that Lorne Michaels makes after the dress rehearsal. I mean, it's a dream come true for most of the actors/writers. But a lot of it is also incredibly stressful.

I know host's monologues are usually scripted and told to say "We have a great show" or something similar; but wouldn't it be cool if one day a host just said "Well to be honest we have an alright show at best", it would make a refreshing change.

Love ya Seth...but kinda feel like you treated this monologue like another one for your talk show. But it also makes sense that you’re so casual cause you’ve been on SNL forever and we’re a driving force behind it for years. Good Kanye story tho! Too bad the right will just use it as a “haha they can’t even make comedy without using our president and his celebrity supporters whom they’ve turned on” 😒 just how it is. But at least the left relies upon facts and research more strongly than the right.

@@TheAstroflight he was head writer for 7 years, he wrote all the iconic Tina Fey/Sarah Palin sketches among others. Don't mistake his self-deprecation for lack of talent.
To be honest, I'm glad he left SNL. I think his show is the best thing going on TV these days.But he should be a go to host once every year or so.

It's amazing how when Seth first got LN his standing monologues left much to be desired. Then he sat behind a desk again and improved and somehow he's transferred all that charisma into.. a standing monologue. We've come full circle 😂

Also, that was one of the most comfortable monologues I've seen on SNL in a while. It's almost like he worked here, and gives monologues on a nightly basis...
