Yes, I got into the doctor's office on Wednesday starting the process of finding out the damage to my body. Yes, she cleaned up pretty nice her body is actually very clean I believe she was from an adult collector. Unfortunately she ended up with the toys the kids come to the thrift store with their parents and just let them go wild in the store throwing the toys around. Just like Toy Story 3 in the caterpillar room.
Asriel is simply adorable anyway, but in his little Tigger robe, he is so sweet. She is so sweet - your baby find! Isn't it exciting when we come across these unexpected finds like this?! ^_^

Yes, I agree she looks familiar, she's having spa treatment to remove the spot from her foot, I still can believe I found her. I do hope someone can tell me who she is. I'll have to share Asriel's head, he has painted hair, perhaps with another baby like him I'll add hair.

Great haul!!! I recintly found a reborn at a garage sale and she is16 inches long and fits preemie clothes she has great rooted mo hair and she is very well panted

That brand I think is called Geli they make semi reborn dolls and those are much cheaper than a normal reborn

I have been watching these vids and I think I want one. I have a picture of my son when he was a baby (he's abt to be 21), and I miss him when he was my Boo-Boo face (Lol). I'm thinking abt getting one that looks jst like him, or of a baby girl that lost about 17 years ago but think about every day. My son seems to think its weird. He thinks having a doll that looks like him is crazy. Maybe he's right. Do you think its weird?

Shauna Brown It's not weird I have the same situation. My daughter is 21 and her reborn clone is coming in on Monday. If you explain that to him about how special he is and also it is to have a baby when some can't have any then he won't think it's too wierd if you should decide to get one. I'll find out in a few days what her reaction is once she sees it

Shauna Brown Yup!! Take a beautiful picture of your son as a newborn and take it and spend a fraction of the money to have it redone. They can make the amazingly gorgeous. They take the baby's picture and bring the picture back to life adding your choice of so many choices from blankets to your picture in the corner looking down or juesus looking down at him or your son now . Omg they are amazing, they frame them, you can have a verse, or babies stats at birth, name. They can add christening gown or something else he adored. Look into it !

Oh I just love her sweet face, she seems to give me a look of "thanks for rescuing me".
I'm not going to say I'm by any means certain but years ago my mother bought me a doll from Ashton Drake and the one I got looks way less like the advertising photos and the skin has this weird, not-exactly-a-human-skin-tone but even after 12+ years, I still have her and the reason I mention this is because of the glued-on hair. They refer to it as "hand-applied". My mom then bought me another doll from Ashton Drake just a few years ago (about 4 I think) and this doll also has the hand applied hair. I'm not really sure how messages or sending messages with photos works as far as UA-cam goes because I'm actually not on UA-cam all that often, but judging by the way the hair is applied with just a small handful seeming to be added onto glue on the head and how the edges don't look exactly straight or as though it was trimmed at all so it's kind of almost messy-looking. I'm not saying yours is but I'm saying that's what most of them look like in general, fairly messy-looking and not exactly uniform in length as well as they don't seem to apply the glue far enough down so the doll ends up having hair that sticks to its head toward the top and then as you move further down the hair doesn't lay down because there's no glue at the very edge so it stands up wildly without a hat or headband. Anyway, I'm sure you could search for that particular artist logo on the back of her neck and I would probably start with the Ashton Drake website. The legs on both of the dolls I have from Ashton-Drake are very similar to hers. I also have a doll that my mother and I found at a collector's Shoppe in the mall once when I was the teenager. I'd picked her up and my mom said to bring her to the front and that she would buy her for me and when we got to the front at the counter the lady looked at me like I was nuts when I started trying to hand "my baby" over to her. Turns out she didn't even realize it was one of the products she was selling in the store because of the way I was holding her she apparently thought it was my actual, living human child! LOL it didn't help that where she was displayed there was nothing but the doll with no Packaging slash box and no certificate of authenticity or anyting. I guess she must have taken the doll out of the box to put it on the display it was sitting on and she either hadn't seen it in a while or didn't really take a good look at it before she set it down somewhere. That doll has some markings on the back of her neck but it's more like either a pen or fine tip marker handwritten number. But that doll has an unusually small head for the size body she has and her hair well it does have a similar, uneven, and disheveled look, her hair is actually rooted. Also, just hold one small offering of advice on care as far as your new doll goes: because the hair is glued and not rooted it will easily come off. I learned that the hard way with my first one and I didn't keep the hair net that she was wearing on when I got her and I didn't always keep a hat or headband and over the years she's lost the pretty good bit of hair. He still has most of what was on the top but the back of her head about halfway between the of her head in the back and her neck has been the highest area of hair loss. The newer one I was bought is a good deal smaller then the old one miniature and only about 10 in from head to toe, has most of her hair still intact. I've kept the headband he came with on her and I also don't handle her hair quite as much as I did with the other one. If you didn't guess by the area I just described as the highest area of hair loss, it's the part of the head that makes the most contact with whatever she's lying on. So my advice, apart from not handling her head too much, would be too probably keep some sort of hat, headband, or even a hairnet on her as often as possible.

Thank you Carrie, I thought she had a very sweet face, her vinyl is as soft as a full vinyl LLE kits. I was so surprised! I was happy to find that sleeper, I love the ribbon it's one of those velvet ribbons. I wish I could record my thought in audio as when I find things, I have a full on conversation with myself about the goodies.

I have also found a yard sale that sold about 50-100 reborn dolls there!!! I loved them so much and they were only 5 dollars each!! My neighbor got one but sadly when I drove by I did not have my money with me but I looked but when I came back to get some the yard sale already ended :( I truly would have probably bought them all :)
