That pork pie is what we of french Canadiank heritage call "tortiere" or Toutque. It's delicious and may family has been making it for over 150 years, and we make it to welcome the new year, but we eat it all the time fall winter and summer. We serve with cabbage and apple slaw or braised red cabbage. It's AWESOME!
I think the best way to describe Red Arrow is that you don't go there, you end up there. I work in Manchester and frequent the one in Londonderry. The Irish benny is my go to.
I just ate at the concord one yesterday and got the American chop suey and in gbd description the first 6 words are guy fieris favorite new engkabd dish.
Chop Suey was already invented in America though and considering that’s not at all spaghetti or anything close to bolognese I’d have to disagree. More like a hamburger helper
I’ve never been to Red Arrow probably because I don’t have one in my town. But I’m surprised nobody really knows what chop suey is. My grandma makes it sometimes and wow it is delicious!!!
I'm from Mass and I remember when this ep aired; my mom, my sister and I just started laughing. We thought he was joking about not knowing what it was at first. I personally don't like it only cause I hate tomato sauce, won't even put it on spaghetti, but when I was little and we had it, I would dump a LOT of grated parmesan cheese on it, he missed out not adding the cheese, LOL.
That pork pie should have some gravy then it probably money my dad makes chop suwey but we call it creole la beef not sure if I spelled that rite at all😂😂😂
The pork pie should be called tourtierre pie- its a Quebec dish. It is usually served with a chili sauce (or even just doctored ketchup) and pickled beets, but not usually a traditional gravy. It's really good, though!!
0:55 Miss you dad ! Love ya hope your having your corn beef heaven with mom.
Aw dude my heart goes out to you
He's not because heaven isn't real. Humans made it up because it's hard to deal with the fact that once people die they are gone forever

Yes Manchester has a large population of French Canadian Quebec migrants that came down to work in the mills back in the 1800s
Love watching these episodes great thanks

@@daniellecrossman4391 yes that sounds good. But you should try it with tomato sauce. I’m surprised you don’t like tomato sauce.
Sounds like a real northeast thing, never knew wtf “corned beef hash” was until recently. I’m from south texas btw lol
The Hamburg comes from a Cryovac tube like Walmart

the one in Londonderry and concord are much better, there is much more room to move around
The chop suey.....my mother made that but called it beefaroni....and I make it now. I'm sure its on every menu in America under different name.
In Ohio we call that Johnny Marzetti.
The difference is beefaroni doesn't have green bell peppers
Dr egg man
Sucks that there’s crackheads at every corner now
What they call American Chop suey is just hamburger hot dish. 😅
Never heard of this! I've always heard it called goulash lol
Guy… please take off the sunglasses. Thank you
