Idk if this is all that useful by the time the bombs lands most people will have moved a long way. Dive bombing is gonna be more useful in 99% of cases. Plus it’s only got one bomb and it’s not all that great In a dog fight.

@@snipars2233 bomb sight is even better, you can accurately bomb targets in a dive or in a climb, unlike this early CCRP.

I like how he was excited about it and justifying it by being able to RTB with only one propeller! The hype of unlocking a new thing in War Thunder and starting to discover its advantages! Great times man.

Honestly, I really don't find myself using either variant of the J21 very much at all.
As a fighter, it's not very good at turning at low speed, and the usually amazing Daimler Benz engine it has is optimized for low altitude so it struggles to boom-n-zoom as well.
And as an attacker, it only really gets one useful bomb since the Swedish 50kg bombs have a tiny 9.5kg warhead. And if I wanted to drop a 500kg bomb with good accuracy, the B17A does that job perfectly fine without having to faff around with CCRP. Hell, with good bombing discipline, you can probably get more tank kills using the 4×100kg bombs on the Pyörremyrsky while being a superior fighter platform.
I don't hate the J21 mind you, but there's nothing that really draws me to use it over other options...

Hunter, why my bomb won't release in CCRP mode?. And yes, I set automatic release ON.
You still need to press on your drop bomb key
There is two different things that might be happening and it was the same for me, one it’s a problem with you of your in game settings or two it’s a problem with your controls you might need to press the exit selected weapon mode to fix it or turn off the automatic bombd release in ccip mode
You need to turn the automatic release off
1- "Select Secondary Weapons" button to select the bomb
2- Mark the target (The Red Square)
3- Level fly and HOLD "Fire Secondary Weapons" button and wait for the bomb to drop.

i love the t18b and the bombers akin to that lineup. never could really get them to work well against ground rb though.

Swedish bias is real. (their 13mm MG`s are the best in the game, and its not even close, also one of the most busted tanks and planes here and there). Take even Strv103, that thing is basically invincible till the darts appear, at a mere 8.0.

brother, there is no bias, its a really bad tech tree that requires genuine experience to handle effectively.
you dont have any armour on teir, you get upteired like wild becuase your lineup is never on teir enough to be on teir, and your tanks only tank when in a downteir.
i should know, ive played through the entire tree. i have suffered for this tech tree, and the only good tanks arnt even swedish, they are rebranded german and russian MBTs. thats not "sweden good" thats gaijin being lazy.

Not to that guy but this isn’t CCIP rather CCRP, CCIP I’d continuously calculated impact point but it’s not doing that your telling the computer where you want the bomb to go and it’s telling you when to release, CCRP continuously calculated release point.

Would diving at some angle make it more accurate and less likely to drop the bomb in case the target moves?
No, never dive never climb with early CCRP planes, fly level and straight, if you dive the bomb impact point will be short relative to the mark, and if you climb the bomb impact point will be long relative to the mark.
@ I guess the calculation isn’t taking account of vertical speed on release, just horizontal then 😀

Sure, a little bit harder though because the HUD won't provide you with the vertical line in the center. I recommend using it on bases, not small targets in sim.
