Yes 😬 it can get expensive getting that seat in the country but the quality was good.

never paid any mind to the scrambler, I thought it looked a bit plastic and garish in parts but you have nailed this sir. best looking bike I've seen for a while mate. I was looking at the xsr700 but I think you've swayed me. Providing I could get most of these mods done myself. well done !

@@SwashbucklingPirate93 It has a desmo system , where it doesn't use springs like a over head cam. Extra shims and then there is the belt. It would be fine, if was like a normal bike at 15k but 6k makes the bike expensive if you ride plenty. I don't think most ppl buying the bike know this, even the sale guy at ducati didnt.
@@SpottyDogBikes literally just been through UA-cam videos and forums explaining it all. What a gutter ! That’d effect my choice for sure. Is it an expensive job no matter what bike you buy ? I understand the desmo system is particularly complex but are there any brands known for reliability and ease to work on ?

I want to order some parts from Mugello for my scrambler but I’ve been hesitant since I went to check out and they wanted me to pay on Thai currency. Seemed suspicious and was worried about getting scammed after seeing reviews of people not getting their orders. Would you recommend ordering parts from them?

I am currently looking to buy the wrp x bar handlebars, I have found a set but it says 2 inch rise and nothing about medium. Do you remember if yours said 2 inch rise? I click on the link you have provided but says cannot find. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I think mine just said high rise. I don’t know if that helps.

Sweet build! Two questions for you. When you removed the hugger, what did you plug the holes with on the swing arm? And the exhaust heat guard where did you get the all black heat guard/shield?

The skid plate is made my Evo Tech, they’re sold on eBay. 👍🏻

Chady Hasrouty I just spray painted it black. It’s the original heat shielding.

baker643 Hi, I did it myself. It’s really easy todo. Just remove the pipes and spray with a high temperature paint. Ive had no issues with it.

I am still waiting for my seat to ship 8 MONTHS later! I tried to get a refund from paypal but no luck....very disappointing. Poor communication from mugello as well.
same here. though i’m now at 13 MONTHS! Also tried to refund to no avail. And have found it impossible to contact them. Feels like a scam!!
@ajxs100 Well, I would keep trying to contact them. They have finally shipped my seat. I haven't received it yet, its still in transit. I'll let you know how it shows up.

Why didn’t you start the bike. That’s the most important part you left out . We all watch these videos for the sound .

Do you recommend any rear mudguards? I've seen that Rizoma has one "Rear fender" but couldn't find any reviews to better understand if it really solves the mud\water splashes issue.

Thanks for doing this. Gorgeous bike! I just got my Mugello seat after 6 months but I didnt realize I needed side panels. Totally my fault. With the 2016, they are not selling the kits. How did you handle the under part with no mudflap? Did that come with your tail light conversion?
They normally get the side panels out much quicker. I left the original plastic under carriage on. You could make your own side panels.

Yes theres a kit made by rizoma .
How do u know when to fill up if there is no fuel gauge
There is a fuel light. Dont ride more than 20miles after that.

Very nice mods. I like the seat and side panels. What year is your bike? Will they fit the 1st gen Full Throttle from 2015? Also who did the spray job on you exhaust? Did you do it yourself? What paint did you use?
SPEX SPEX it’s a 2015. They panels are in the description below. They exhaust I just sprayed with heat resistant paint for stoves. Worked great. Thanks

Really nice. Is it the NRC tail-tidy? Or some other plate you fitted? And is there anywhere to fit a conventional set set of rear indicators? (Looking to keep my Scrambler LEDs like the ones you have in the front)
Michael Skaanning thanks. Yes it’s an NRC. The plate holder was just a piece of aluminium I bent in a vice. I did have my old Ducati Scramble LED indicators fitted. There was a small convert bracket I found online.
@@SpottyDogBikes Thanks a lot. Removing the fender AND mounting the license plate like you did is not something you see on many Scramblers. Most owners seem to either keep the fender and mount the license plate like you did - or delete the fender and mount the license plate "underneath the seat". But in Europe I think your solution is ideal. Just need to find a way to mount the Duc Scrambler LED turn signals.

@@SpottyDogBikes the thruxton r with pillion seat for Sunday rides with the wife then up the pace on my own, same for the other 2. Did you have issues with the thruxton?
tim armitage this is all subjective. But I rode the Thruxton R round scotland and I found it uncomfortable after an hour and you can’t brace yourself very well because you can’t use you knees to grip the tank because it’s very thin in that area. So when you are going fast it’s all on your arms. The other issue is it’s weight, it stopped very well and the power it has plenty! But it doesn’t turn because those wheels are so heavy. Beauty over practically. The engine tarnished quick too. I also had to have the engine rebuild after I took it on track but that’s my fault for over revving it. 😤
