I had a wavier for a hot piss test for weed (after the 90 day wait) and was approved 1 week after retest. I was satisfied.

If the entire military got piss tested, I can bet a million bucks that a good chunk of the military would be discharged
The entire military is randomly test 1-5x per year… ones who do fail, are discharged.
Ooo! That reminds me, I still gotta go talk to the psych again to try to get my PTSD... De-diagnosed, or declared unnecessary to treat? I don't remember what the ssg used for wording of it precisely, but it's in my paperwork. Got the tca acid in the mail for closing my gauges though finally, and starting that up today!

If you have been to treatment for alcohol use before does that show up on medical record? Does it require a waiver ?
If it shows up and/or you disclose it is going to disqualify you and require a medical waiver…
tried to get a waiver for my charges which were weed related and they could not get me one (2016-17-18)

I have a dismissed case for possession of a firarm and recieving stolen property die to completing a diversion program and i dont understand why i need a waiver if there was no admission of guilt
Diversion program expresses guilt. Based on that probation like program tells the US Military you were actually committed the crime. If it was out right dismissed, you wouldn’t need a moral waiver. On average for you, with your experience, how long does a mental health waiver ‘usually’ take?
I did my psych consult that was set up by meps and NGB now has the waiver request. I’ve been waiting about 1.5 months since then.
If you need more specifics for your answer then I understand. All I’m willing to say is the issue in question happened 17 years ago. Even my meps doctor told me not to lose sleep on it.

I got a question for you: if I get my discharge upgraded, will the Army National Guard consider the upgraded discharge or the original?

Unless it’s documented medically or criminally or you self admit… the Military won’t know unless you fail a drug & alcohol test or you tell them. I have to say you have to disclose it but those are the facts. I know this this is a completely different subject from this video but I need to ask, does the Army national guard have an airborne unit that I could get into if I enlist in the guard? I’m pretty sure the guard doesn’t have the 82nd or 101st Airborne division so that’s out of the question. I would just like to go to airborne school, I’m still in high school and I am joining the guard when I turn 17 in 3 months.
There’s only a handful of states that have airborne units. In those states, you could get airborne slots in your contract. Otherwise it’s not a contractual option. I’ve got a misdemeanor charge for weed possession less than 30g that was later moved from a criminal charge to a traffic violation of small amounts of marijuana after court my recruiter put in a waiver for me do you think they’ll accept it

Was it out right dismissed?
I received 9 month Deferred probation upon completion it would be “dismissed” which I completed.
I've had a medical marijuana card for a few years for concussions i had from boxing. I'm very fit and can do anything. Will i be disqualified from enlisting even if i don't use during training? It stays in your system for a long time
Your entire medical history with concussions and anything else will disqualify you. Only if an approved medical waiver is obtained would you be able to join. Must pass a drug test and be clean.

How long is the wait for a dui waiver from 10 years and tattoo waiver?

If someone has a RE code 3 on their discharge and they have a general discharge under honorable conditions, how difficult can it be to get a waiver?

This new military has gone soft. We need the 90s version back. Like y'all change the hair regulations but can't let prior service reenlist for marijuana use. make that make sense. And weed does not harm the body. Y'all are just weak and soft 😂😂😂

Marijuana isn’t federally legal, which makes it an illegal substance within the military. Idk how the military would know about drug use as a PS person unless you disclose it or was arrested for it or had a medical emergency for it. Now, if you mean PS who go caught by failing a drug during service… play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Life is filled with choices and those who choose to break the rules can’t complain about the consequences…

Hey I wanted to joint the gaurd but I quit smoking for about 4 months will I pass the drug test an should I inform them that I quit 4 month prior
