Thanks for the info ? Question .. the practice exam on the crsct prep website can you retake it multiple times or we only have access to take it once ?
Hi, i came here through your older channel, my question itself isn't on the test but about your opinion over HSPA and CBSPD and which would being easier to be certify because with HSPA, we are required 400hours on hands on before being fully certify but that seems kinda difficult to obtain and i have no idea where to even begin to ask to volunteer in a hospital for the hours. This compare to CBSPD, once i pass the exam, i would be fully certify without 400 hours of hands on. I wanna go towards HSPA but i feel like the 400 hours is a brick wall that is hard to knock down. I live in California. Could u give me any advice?
Hi, thanks for coming over! Let's break it down into two parts. Firstly, let's talk about the worth of your time. If you're earning about $20 per hour, committing to 400 hours of volunteering could theoretically cost you about $8000. I'm not entirely sure where the volunteer markets stand post-COVID, but I'd say start by reaching out to hospitals within a certain mile radius you're willing to travel and ask them about their volunteer opportunities, specifically in the SPD department. Secondly, investing in certification through a school might offer a faster track into the field and may only cost a couple of thousand dollars... if that. Opting for the CBSPD certification, you might still need to intern/volunteer, or work for a hiring agency for cheaper, but it will signal your dedication to entering the field, potentially boosting your credibility and making you stand out among other candidates. Additionally, there won't be an excuse to use you for 400 hours before permanently hiring you. Lastly once you get "paid experience" even through a temp agency you're basically in. Hope that helps! P.S. I will be starting the CBSPD certification program soon!
OMG!! I agree!! I started school in February and start extern on the 28th of this month October. My fear is that I will forget everything if I don't take the test now, but to do that I have to pay out of pocket ($140) if I don't do extern and intern I won't have the 400 hours. I did speak with HSPA customer service and was told I would have 6 months to get the 400 needed hours after passing the test if I didn't do extern/intern. Thing is most employers want someone with experience here in Texas. Wish I had found this video BEFORE I took out a loan for an 8 month class. Wish me luck!!
Good afternoon, I just finished the course now I'm preparing to take the exam after September 10th of this year. Any advice, and suggestions anyone has for me?
The best advice after getting book smart is to get street smart (or in this case facility smart, lol) get some hands-on experience call around and ask if you can volunteer
@ThatSterileTech Hello. I needed to know why is there (ONLY) a 50-day access after purchasing the CRCST Exam Study Guide??? I need this question answered beforehand, thank you.
when will the CRCST exam prep be open to purchase again? I just paid the testing fees to be able to take the test sometime in September since that's when regular testing resumes. I'd love to purchase the exam prep to start studying and ensure that I will be ready by then (:
Unfortunately my resources are limited, so I prioritize one-on-one messaging with the people inside my study program prepping for the exam, however I can publicly reply here.
Question, even though im not sure if youll see this lol. Should i wait to purchase these until september when regular testing resumes, or should i go ahead? I have the textbook & my own notes, but im a sloppy note taker. I guess its also safe to assume they may change the test(ing) come september. im really trying to weigh out the options here.
Hey, I got an answer:) It all depends on you… your test taking skills, previous knowledge, and etc. Seeming you already are studying the book you should have nothing to worry about and my notes should give you the extra confidence boost! They can only change the questions so much; the concepts stay the same🤷♂️ besides my notes follow the study new guideline. You could wait but time is money, and imagine if you waited and failed then you’d have to wait twice as long to retake (but I'm sure that won't happen) Lastly, I already have people reporting back to me stating they passed the pilot exam just by studying my notes (no fails). I'm already implementing their feedback in the course. Either way I'm rooting for you😊
Hey, so since the exam is getting a reboot and closing here shortly I will be giving it away when they reopen. It didn't make sense to give it away during a testing black out. So you still have a chance!
Hey, that's going to be the CSPDT exam by CBSPD their exam are going to take place the 5th-10th of August! I am currently finishing up the study guide for that specific exam, The video coming out in the following days; stay tuned!
your study notes are only valid for one month after purchase?? i mean i want to take my time, i work full time and mother, i want to study at my own pace
Hello and thank you for your comment, so the access is a little longer than one month - it's 6 weeks or 42 days, from our research and feedback this is ample time to study and pass. The expiration is in place to ensure that I can dedicate sufficient personalized attention to enrollees leading up to their exam date without being spread too thin. In regards to studying at your own pace, our platform is accessible 24/7 to virtually any device that has access to the internet. Lastly, since you gained access to the material today that puts you at May 16th as your expiration date which coincides with the last day of the CRCST exam will be offered before the exam testing black-out. I hope this helps since you are in the program please reach out to me directly through the messaging feature if you have any more questions or need help with the material, thank you and good luck!!
Hy I have a question, I’m new to the sterile process and would love to get certified but do I need to buy the textbooks on top of your study guide or just the study guide only? What would you recommend?
Hi, I've answered this question. In short, I don't intend my study guide to supplement the textbook however with that being stated people have posted they had success with solely my study guide.
Hey I fail the test first attempt on crsct exam can you help me ..look at ur website is this the right question for the crsct exam hopefully u respond me my second test is coming I'm so stress to pass the exam hopefully u respond me back..
@@elizabethdavis9101 Sorry about your missed first attempt, however, you stumbled to the right place! This study guide helped me and so many others pass on their 1st attempt on this specific current version! good luck on this 2nd time!
Hi! I will be taking the pilot exam for the 9th edition next week. I am interested in purchasing your study guide for the practice questions. Will that help me even if I am taking the pilot exam?
Hi, great question! So I just had someone take the pilot exam and they told me yesterday my study guide helped them a lot! They mentioned the questions were essentially worded differently but in essence the same. Plus don't forget, the study guide also comes with chapters notes from the 9th edition book that cover whats on the study guideline for the exam; they reported that was invaluable to them. So in summary yes its relevant and will help:)
Hey, I have a quick question! I bought the 9th edition textbook and workbook. But I found a book on Amazon called "CRCST EXAM TEST PREP 2024-2025. IT IS 158 pages. Can I use this book too to pass the exam or is it not a good reliable book. Tyvm. Appreciate it.
Hi, I'm not entirely sure, however it doesn't really matter since my prep includes notes that cover the nuts and bolts of essential topics that way you get a well-rounded grasp of a concept to where it doesn't matter which way you get questioned because you know the fundamentals. This is why I don't recommend studying with just practice questions, as there's over a dozen ways to get questioned on a single topic. But, hey I'm interested in your experience testing in Canada! let me know how it goes in direct message me in the course!
@@ThatSterileTeacher yes I will let you know tom is my day of examination I will update you. But those questions and answer really help me to review some other info in this field.
I did an accredited online school and I would say if you really want to do this, STUDY..STUDY..STUDY!!. And study your notes. I work twelve hour shifts on my job, and on my off days I was doing my coursework, taking quizzes and doing test questions online. I passed my exam in October on the first try and I'll be finishing up my clinical hours in four months. I didn't purchase anyone's notes because I felt that I was smart enough to pass a test without paying for another persons course. Don't cheat yourself by depending on someone else to help you when it comes to your education. Have confidence in yourself. When it comes to taking the test, be ready for anything because the questions will read different from what you study. I hope this helps you in your route you take.
There was only about 5 questions about instruments. More on how to test them, how they're manufactured, best practices, identification, etc. Not really memorizing their names. I'd highly recommend using my study guide it's only $37, which is about what some techs make an hour - it took me over 200 hours to create. You wouldn't want to risk failing right now because then the next testing times won't be until September since they're updating the test this summer. So far no one failed after using my notes and practice exams, only passes🤷♂️
I got your notes last night I have read through them all .The high areas is that the only area that I need to study? Waiting on my book in mail and will i need the work book as well? Dies it matters if you go through a course or not? Thanks in advance
Hi, so the things I highlighted in my notes are things I personally ran into on the exam. I personally studied with out the workbook just the textbook. What do you mean by going through a course? You need your 400 hours as a prerequisite to be eligible for the exam or you can get the temporary certification; which I don't recommend.
Hi! I'm planning to take the exam soon, but I was wondering if your Ultimate HSPA CRCST Exam Prep is for the 8th edition or 9th edition? I'm just curious? Thanks :D
Hey Kat, so its based on the 9th edition book. The pilot exam is brand new and only going to be around for 2 weeks, so far I've been getting good feedback that it's relevant to the pilot exam! This is because of the essential chapter notes that are included that touch on topics that are in the official study guideline HSPA puts out. Hope that helps and good luck!
@@ThatSterileTeacher thank you so much! I think I’ll definitely check it out. I originally learned for the 8th edition so I’ve been stressing out a little on the change. But I think it’ll be ok! I’m a little confused about the outline on the HSPA website because I’ve found two different outlines, so I didn’t know which on to actually rely on. Thanks again 😎
Hi, I just purchase ur study guide. Do I have to be in a program to fully be in dept in the education on sterile process or can I just use ur study guide and then take the exam
Hi, I don’t really understand your question, but if you’re asking if you can be working in a sterile processing department without being in a school the question is yes. A lot of places take volunteers and people without out being certified as-long as you get certified within a certain time frame, this heavily depends on where you live. Big cities and states that have a higher pay for SPD tend to be more competitive to get in to though, so those things (school/certification) help put you on the top of the metaphorical list, experience is king though. I will be making a video about this soon its the number #1 thing hiring managers look for. Thanks for the question; my next video will mention this.
Good question, I wouldn't as its tailored to the CRCST exam. Howeverr, I just passed the CSPDT exam im the last testing periods! I'm buttoning up the study guide for it as we speak! So stay tuned from that😊

I bought the books and I’m studying them and taking the tests in the workbook myself. Do I have to take a course to be able to pass the test?
I’m going to buy this week glad I found u ur a life changer
Good afternoon, I just finished the course now I'm preparing to take the exam after September 10th of this year. Any advice, and suggestions anyone has for me?
The best advice after getting book smart is to get street smart (or in this case facility smart, lol) get some hands-on experience call around and ask if you can volunteer
Hi I have a question do I still need to study from the books if I am studying from your notes ?
Hey, most people don't
your notes compared to the workbook questions are lining up at all.
am i missing something?
@ThatSterileTech
Hello. I needed to know why is there (ONLY) a 50-day access after purchasing the CRCST Exam Study Guide??? I need this question answered beforehand, thank you.
Hi Michelle, this is so I can dedicate personal attention to each enrollee, help them pass, and move along to the new incoming studiers.
@@ThatSterileTeacher Ok. I think I understand now.
Thank you for clarifying.
when will the CRCST exam prep be open to purchase again? I just paid the testing fees to be able to take the test sometime in September since that's when regular testing resumes. I'd love to purchase the exam prep to start studying and ensure that I will be ready by then (:
If you subscribed to the email newsletter you’ll be amongst the first to know 😊
Hi is there a way to instant message you to ask you a few specific questions
Unfortunately my resources are limited, so I prioritize one-on-one messaging with the people inside my study program prepping for the exam, however I can publicly reply here.
@@ThatSterileTeacher i understand. i was curious how do i get your notes and study guide. im taking the test in mid april
Pinned comment of this video, see you in there Mitch!
Hey, I got an answer:)
It all depends on you… your test taking skills, previous knowledge, and etc.
Seeming you already are studying the book you should have nothing to worry about and my notes should give you the extra confidence boost! They can only change the questions so much; the concepts stay the same🤷♂️ besides my notes follow the study new guideline.
You could wait but time is money, and imagine if you waited and failed then you’d have to wait twice as long to retake (but I'm sure that won't happen)
Lastly, I already have people reporting back to me stating they passed the pilot exam just by studying my notes (no fails). I'm already implementing their feedback in the course.
Either way I'm rooting for you😊
Sir i have not available 9th edition book if buy your notes is in off to pas my exam
The people who used my notes are telling me, Yes. The notes were sufficient to pass.
Bro did you already give that book away cause 😢😢😢😢 I need it
Hey, so since the exam is getting a reboot and closing here shortly I will be giving it away when they reopen. It didn't make sense to give it away during a testing black out. So you still have a chance!
Hey can I purchase your prep guide? I’m taking the exam in August.
Hey, that's going to be the CSPDT exam by CBSPD their exam are going to take place the 5th-10th of August!
I am currently finishing up the study guide for that specific exam, The video coming out in the following days; stay tuned!
Ok thanks 🙏🏾
your study notes are only valid for one month after purchase?? i mean i want to take my time, i work full time and mother, i want to study at my own pace
@@ThatSterileTeacher ur studying guide is the test on crsct..do you have email ..so can email u there..
Hello, can you please help me to pass my test. Thank you

I wasn’t able to purchase your study notes when will I able to ?
Its open now:)
What difference between the CSPDT and the CRCT please?
I am Trying to purchase Your Notes but they are no address proving that i will get the Book
Hey, I'm not selling the book rather the notes I took from the key chapters.
Is there a coupon code I want to buy
Yupp, there's one that's hidden in the video!
I suggest using only the HSPA 9th edition book.
Thank you for your help I was super lost one last question how much did you pay for this career????
Hi is the exam here in Canadasame exam in US?
But those questions and answer really help me to review some other info in this field.
do you recommend self studying over paying for a course? im really interested in this field but im kinda confused on what route to take
I did an accredited online school and I would say if you really want to do this, STUDY..STUDY..STUDY!!.
I want to get the free book
Stay tuned! I'll be announcing it on my channel soon, probably when I hit 100-200 subs
Is it true I can self study and take provisional test? Do I necessarily have to take online course?
Yep
How much do you make? I live in NJ and I’m about to take the exam lol
Guy Grove
Does this mean I do not need to spend so much time on memorizing instruments?
There was only about 5 questions about instruments. More on how to test them, how they're manufactured, best practices, identification, etc. Not really memorizing their names.
I'd highly recommend using my study guide it's only $37, which is about what some techs make an hour - it took me over 200 hours to create.
You wouldn't want to risk failing right now because then the next testing times won't be until September since they're updating the test this summer. So far no one failed after using my notes and practice exams, only passes🤷♂️
I am from Australia studying Sterilising, do you think the 9th edition book would be relevant for us here? Thanks
@@ThatSterileTeacher Hi thanks for responding.I mean should I go through a school? I will wait for the book to come and use your notes
If you already are about to get certified and have expiernce there's no point imo
will i be about to print out the study prep
No, instead we offer an online interactive space
Is all of this done online? The certification
How can get the book please?
Can I use this to study for the CSPDT exam by CBSPD? 🤔
Good question, I wouldn't as its tailored to the CRCST exam.
Howeverr, I just passed the CSPDT exam im the last testing periods! I'm buttoning up the study guide for it as we speak! So stay tuned from that😊
@@ThatSterileTeacher I can’t seem to find a good study guide for it and I’m worrying a bit 😅
"Hi there,
I'm having trouble accessing my product/course on your site. When I log in, it says I don't have any products, but my course isn't expired until July 28. Could you please help me to resolve this issue and restoring access to my course?
Hey, I messaged you back in chat. FYI, CRCST testing is closed now until September so no point in studying, but your login should be working now. Message me there if there is any additional questions, thanks.
@@ThatSterileTeacher yes,i can access it now
Why can’t I purchase the study notes? Oh no am I too late
Yea sorry, I closed it, no point in selling it the testing is over.
I will be updating it and releasing it again for purchase when testing resumes!
Hello, will the exam be over the 9 edition book once the pilot exam is over with? And how can I purchase your flash cards?
The pilot and the new exam moving forward will be both based on the info in the 9th edition book. The revised study guideline is in the description. Lastly, the pinned comment will take you the sales page for my study guide which includes key chapter notes and multiple-choice practice questions. Hope that helps.

What information can you give for passing 8th edtion
not much I only studied with the most recent textbook, I'd say refer to the CRCST exam content outline... orrr use my study guide:)
Hey how can I get your test prep? I tried on the website, but it’s not letting me buy it
By popular demand It's open now, happy studying😊📝
Hey do you think I’ll still benefit from buying your course to study with being that you’re still going over all areas of the test ? I’m only asking because I know about the pilot test etc
Will you updating your practice exam every year?
Heyyy what is the application date for sept 2024 exam
Im not sure they didn’t specify if they closed applications so I’d send my application in about a month before the first testing date to allow time for processing
@@ThatSterileTeacherhow can I get your test prep? I went on the website, but it’s saying that it’s closed. I would really like to purchase it.
hey i can't able to buy
It will reopen a few weeks before the testing resumes
