Cost of Kushaq will be similar to Slavia. I will suggest go for SMP. Average yearly cost of service will be 6,200 for each service Engine performance is good, I haven't faced any issue in city/ remote areas yet ,
You can go longer in Tiago. No issues in that !! Coming to gearbox, AMT will definitely not have any problem in straight highways!! However, in steep uphill and full load few vehicles like Magnite & Kiger have struggled in their automatic version. So I suggest, switch to manual mode and tackle the uphill & downhill..that's it !!
I was a Hyundai i20 owner before buying Slavia. Unfortunately I have not driven new Verna, so not sure whether I will be able to guide you correctly. Still few points - 1. If we just consider the brand, maintenance cost will any day be less for hyundai compared to Skoda. 2. Ground clearance wise Slavia will give you flexibility for maneuvering bad roads with high GC 3. Among Kushaq & Slavia - My pick was always towards Slavia due to similar capabilities but higher boot size, all wheels of same size etc
Whenever you will make long term review video, please tell us about would you still pick manual slavia vs dsg , even after you had clutch stuck problem and one more thing is this manual gearbox notchy? Or the clutch travel is long in comparison to verna or clutch is hard? And also about the suspension setup, is it comfortable enough for rear seats on bad roads?
19K Slavia can be a good choice and I am sure that's in warranty - Just check whether it's in warranty and all - as modifications tend to void that Also the overall vehicle condition
Had to drop it for insurance claim !! But any solution, even in last instance it took them few days to get the parts, when vehicle was at service centre
Thanks for the details. My first one is pending next month. 😀 Brake pads seems to be high cost. Did you change for all tyres? So, even after SMP, you paid 15K? Which Slavia whatsapp group were you talking abt?
Brake pads only for front Beyond SMP - Paid approx 7.5 K for brakes. Rest are value added services, skip if not required!! Like wheel balancing etc, you can do it from outside I am in 3 different groups, " Skoda Slavia club", "Skoda Slavia owners group" and "simply clever" If you have smp, cost will be nil for first service
I would also like to know about those WhatsApp groups and how to join them - I too own a Slavia 1.5 DSG and feel that I will benefit from these groups.
Hi I am planning Skoda Kushaq, can you confirm the overall service cost for Skoda and Engine performance in remote locations

SMP means?
@@Sta926 Service Maintenance package.

Bro I want to buy skoda slavia 1.0MT..I got a used slavia Style 1.0 MT of 2.5 yrs and 19k km driven for 9.5 lakh.Should I consider it?

Currently I’m facing Brake fluid oil empty every 3-4K KM or 2-3 months
It's unusual. There should be some issue, please force service center to sort it out
According to you currently which insurance is best ? I am currently looking for renewal in a couple of months
My experience with HDFC ergo was good but they are a bit expensive.
Whichever you take, go for a higher IDV.
Which variant is yours ?
It is 1.5 Turbo, Manual Transmission!!
Swayam, your Slavia is Automatic or Manual drive???
Its manual
@@Travidiction Oh So Riya knows to drive Manual transmission. Awesome 👍
Yes.. she is pro 😊😊
I woul suggest don't leave your car to service center alone when it's under l warranty body parts replacement happens
