great info-I am scheduled to go there in May on the Armonia- but the ship is not scheduled to stay until dark-I wish it was because it would be great to see the lighthouse lit up
Oh wow, I thought they were scheduling all ships to stay into the night, just because they have so much going on. Dang!!

No, it looks like Virgin’s private area is located on the island of Bimini itself. MSC just named one of their beaches after the island, but it’s a different place. That’s funny though!! :D
How long was your day at the island? Looked like you were there all day.
Yep, we were there from 10am until 11pm.
Wow, that's a fun full day. Other cruise lines never stay that long at private islands.

The umbrella rental is ridiculous! Who wants to trek across an island with an umbrella?
I wonder if they could invent some sort of system where you turn your umbrella back in, get some sort of ticket or wristband, and then get a new umbrella at your new beach. It seemed a little awkward, hah...
Ooooh, this looks much nicer than I’d imagined. So if one were to get a balcony room, what would be the best side to see to lighthouse from the balcony?
The way the Armonia docked, it would be a starboard balcony. There are no aft balconies on that ship, which would have been perfect, so starboard facing us about as good as you could get, hah.
I'm starboard side on the Meraviglia....so I hope we can see it from the balcony.
We will be there in 11 days and can not wait. We will be doing a cabana and jet skiing. The best food we have had on a cruise ship was with MSC.
Thanks for the video! The wife and I will be there the first week of August and we were wondering about snorkeling. Hopefully the coral has grown some and the fish will be a little more plentiful. 🤞
The cash only tip for the straw market was a life saver since we weren’t really planning on carrying cash onto the island - so thanks again for that.
It was super cool the see the new island in its infancy, and we're curious to check it out again in a few years. Yes, we never think to carry cash onto the private islands, but they usually do have local vendors there who don't accept the ship card as payment. :D

We didn't have any issues with bugs the evening we were there, no... I feel like it might be too windy for them to just be hanging around there by the beach. Such a cool experience!! :D
@@parodeejay Ok, thank you very much for your reply! I also saw your video on Club Med at Sandpiper Bay. I live in the Sandpiper Bay housing plan and was very interested in the information. I am hoping to go on the MSC Armonia later in July. It will be my first time on a MSC cruise!

Hey I see y’all have a lot of cruise videos, I plan on binge watching them lol but I’m trying to plan a vacation and was wondering if you would have any recommendations for locations with the best wildlife for snorkeling ( I want to see sea turtles ideally)
Wow, it was nice to see, better than i expected. In November on the Meraviglia, they cancelled our port stop here the day of due to not being ready, even though they kept advertising it. Good to hear about the food being plentiful.
Yes, they said they delayed the opening for a few weeks, and the Armonia ended up being the first ship in, back in December I think it was. Wow!!
