Also, Norah should TOTALLY do a studio version [for her next record hopefully] of that last song, She did it live in one of her mini home concerts a few years ago and it was awesome. I reckon, two or three takes in the studio is all she'd need to nail down her own definitive version of it.
She FAILED classical Piano theory? Right, get the pitchforks out and set the dogs on her. [Over-reaction hoy] Seriously though, this video's wild. A good host and then we have Don Was, man I keep looking at his feet. Guy's just so comfortable and present, as if he's literally a part of the furniture. Suppose it tracks him being the head of BN. Of course they would start with Norah. I mean, WHO ELSE? She's so important for Blue note records, I mean, she "basically" put them on the map in a way few others on the label really could. Which isn't to say they didn't have anyone before her but let's face it, the way her debut just exploded REALLY brought more acts to Blue Note than they probably would have had if Norah Jones was not a musician. I haven't said enough about the host. No idea who he is but props for a tactful and nuanced interview while also leaving plenty of room for Don Was as the guest host. Good job.
She is simply amazing, true artist.❤
One f the best 'Broken Record' episodes ever. Bravo!
Loving the vibe of this interview
What a nice conversation. Norah is so smart and humble with so much talent!

I like Nora’s relaxed vibes; I love you @norah J
When I hear Nora sing I often think of Dorothy Dandridge.
