- An amazingly efficient combination of response and tonal color
Sergei's trumpet is the result of almost 2 years of development carried on both in the AR Resonance Atelier and in concert halls all around the world.
The trumpet has a Bronze bell, a light nickel silver leadpipe, a round tuning slide, in nickel silver too.
The layout is different than our other models with a shorter tuning slide and a slightly tighter venturi.
Most of the work has been done to finely tune the resistance of the instrument while keeping a warm tone and a very quick response.
This is why we went for the round nickel silver tuning slide, braces soldered in slightly different spots and a modified version the leadpipe.
Paired with his set of 3 Signature Sergei Nakariakov Mouthpieces the trumpet can change its sound and response in ways that will match his extremely demanding repertoire.
The trumpet can be delivered with either a Nickel Silver trim kit or a Bronze one.
Nickel has a brighter sound and faster response, bronze sounds darker.

I'm a Euphonium player. The fact that he is wearing a shirt with a euphonium on the front of it somehow makes me feel like a better euphonium player.
Truly one of the greatest to ever walk the earth!!!! I think this new trumpet has elevated his tone to a new level; Sergei's compact clarity with a slightly broader quality and warmer core than before.
Saw too many virtuoso trumpeter from morrison, sandoval etc, but he just on another level, so scary, GBU maestro
There will never be another him in classic area.
He is the best in history.

Hello, he has two main trumpet mouthpieces made by AR Resonance. One is a long version, tight backbore and standard length, which he uses for most of his repertoire. The other is quite shorter, bigger throat and much bigger backbore, he uses it on pieces that require a bigger and broader sound.
This last one follows the same approach of all AR Resonance mouthpieces in terms of harmonic spread, tone color, intonation and so on.
The long version is more "traditional", with a more compact sound and a cleaner articulation.

With this trumpeter playing, any trumpet sounds good. However, there are some (Many) who play badly with any instrument.
