@@arnaudjanin1995 The issue seems to be that the flex cable connector gets loose because of low pressure. What I actually do in this video is to increase the pressure on the flex cable connector, so that it won't get loose again. :)
Xiaomi Thailand wants to charge me $400 for fixing this. They said , the phone will need a new main board. Which is more that the phone cost me. I followed your steps..... and it worked. Thank you so much!!
Hello, i would like to ask again for help. My husband's phone (Poco F2) suddenly stop charging again. We repeated doing the steps but its not working, we also put some cardboard between the battery and the band, and still not working. What could possibly be the reason? Please help. Somehow when we put in the charger, it would vibrate a little but it won't show anything in the screen and no led lights at the top of the camera. Please help 😁
Thank you so much, this works also for me, just for people asking if this can solve their problem of charge, try first before engaging this procedure to bend the phone while plugged or make pressure on the places where the connectors are situated (under the camera and on the buttom) if the charger is detected then you need to do this procedure otherwise it could be other technical fail.
I had the same issue with a twist and the following was my temp fix. When my phone stopped charging, I bent the phone slightly it would charge. But after a few days it completely stopped charging. So I removed the back cover and figured it was not the top part of the flex cable but the bottom part which has the issue. So I put some tape on top of the bottom flex connecter. Even then it stopped charging after a day or two. And then I realised the issue stems from the flex cable (when you rub the cable from top to bottom sometimes it starts charging). Therefore, I cut out a visiting card (hard paper) and inserted it in the small space between the flex cable and the battery (to ensure the cable is fully flexed and not loose). Now it seems to be working like a charm. Planning to get a new flex cable for future.
This is the real fix, in my opinion. I didn't have a fireproof electrical tape to put onto the hot connector. I instead cut a plastic card to shape to make the flex cable rigid like OP described. Now it works flawlessly, hopefully it won't burn when fast charging 😂
Thanks for the tip, my phone was failing and the technician didn't knew what problem could be, I took my phone to another technician and told him to do it
I done this and worked perfectly for me! Quite easy to do if you buy the kit to do, I needed to change the back on mine anyway as it was cracked anyway but it was hard to find another phone that even comes close to this for the £280 mark which was what I paid for it at the time so it was well worth it for me 👍 now going to fix my mi 9 as the battery broke so I'll have two sick phones
In my case it only helped for 3 days and fast charge was not possible. Therefore, I took a closer look and found that the circuit board on which the connector is located is very thin and when pressure comes from above it pushes itself away to the rear. I then removed the board. The SIM card holder is located directly behind the connector. I still stuck some tape on the holder. Now the screws can press everything together without any air between because the SIM card holder now rests on the housing. Now I can use the fast charge again.
Thank you very much for your video. I was having the same issue and thanks to your instructions I was able to fix it. My phone is only 6 months old and I know my two year warranty is now void but it was worth it. I didn´t want to reset my phone and send it to the seller for repair for God knows how long... Thanks again!
OMG... That's works really!!!!!! Thanks you so much!!!!!!! 10minutes to work.... I do all you write on the video and and now my f2 pro load again.... Thanks a lot
Thanks for this video! Helped me saved a few bucks. I thought the culprit is the charging port. But I realized that when I tap the back part repeatedly, it does charge sometimes and it charges continuously. So I thought that this trick would work and I tried. Voila! It did! Thanks a lot man! @@iConceptPhones I'm glad you made the video. I hope it lasts for a long time as I want to use it as long as there are no other defects (battery etc). Cause I've encountered the same problem right now, and when I'm putting pressure into the bottom flex in my phone it charges but when I release my thumb it will not charge again, I think I need to put your solution onto the bottom flex, am I right? Or do I also need it to apply at the top flex?
I had the same issue last night, I made a reaserch on line and I found a guy that was bending the corners of the phone then it starts to charge but that wasn't enough because I can't stay like that until the phone is full charged, then i found you, and I saw your video I think that the problem comes from the connection on the charging board because when I was putting pressure on that area the phone starts to charge. I guess what it's needed just to fix that part to solve the problem, i mean to unscrew the charging board cover and put e layers of electric tap. Don't you think so?
The easiest fix is to try with a fireproof aluminium tape to put the flex cable under pressure. The seconds way would be to replace the flex and the last way, the charging board.

Thank you, this 100% worked. My contacts were actually very loose. Bad design is the main problem. Thanks once again.
Hello. You're welcome. ☺️✌️
Thanks for this. I've fixed my phone within 20 minutes! 🙏🏼 Don't need to buy a new one.
Hi. You're welcome. Great that you can enjoy your phone again. 😄
how long it will last??
Yeah any updates on how long the fix works?
@@arnedecorte6709 It worked for 10 months for me. After 10 months, I just added more tape and it worked again.
god bless you man, applying pressure worked
Hi, i wanna do this with my phone, but i dont know how to stick it again, Can i do with the old glue?, Thanks
Just wanted to say thanks! Because of this video I could easily and cheaply repair my phone myself
Hi. Great. Enjoy your phone. 😊✌️
Thanks for the tip, my phone was failing and the technician didn't knew what problem could be, I took my phone to another technician and told him to do it
Hey. Great that it fixed your phone too. 😊
This solution its amazing, my phone lives again! very grateful.
Hi. Great that it worked on your phone. ✌️
Oh my.. Thank you.. my phone's charging batt. working again!
Just read that if you plug it in the other side up this could solve the problem 👌
Hi. I'm glad that it fixed your phone. Have fun with them. 👍
Now I can use the fast charge again.
i'll try this, thank you
Thank you very much for your video. I was having the same issue and thanks to your instructions I was able to fix it. My phone is only 6 months old and I know my two year warranty is now void but it was worth it. I didn´t want to reset my phone and send it to the seller for repair for God knows how long... Thanks again!
Great that it worked. :))
OMG... That's works really!!!!!! Thanks you so much!!!!!!! 10minutes to work.... I do all you write on the video and and now my f2 pro load again.... Thanks a lot

alhamdulillah very helpful, you saved my life, 100% worked solution. nice thank you sir
Şükür, it worked for you, brother. Have a great week! 👍
Thanks for this video! Helped me saved a few bucks. I thought the culprit is the charging port. But I realized that when I tap the back part repeatedly, it does charge sometimes and it charges continuously. So I thought that this trick would work and I tried. Voila! It did! Thanks a lot man! I hope this fix will last long.
Hey. Great that your phone is fixed now. I still don't have any problems till today. Still works fine.
@@iConceptPhones Nice to hear that! Btw, all the screws at the top are of the same size, except for one. It has a different color anyways. The one near the pop-up mechanism if I could still remember. Anyways, thanks again man! More power to your channel!

Great that it fixed your problem. Stay healthy. 😊

Thanks, so far it works. An "hard squeeze" on the phone while plugged in and now is charging.
Thankyou. My Poco F2 Pro was charging really slowly and this fixed it. I disconnected the cables to the bottom charging circuit and then put 4 layers of electrical tape on the back of the connector. Back to charging at 1400mA! Also thanks for pointing me in the direction of the app "Ampere".
Great that it worked. It should charge with 5A speed. Maybe the charging board/flex cable is defective?
@@iConceptPhones I have a RAVpower 60W charger (max 2.4A per port) and I use the cable that came with the phone. I will try some new combinations to see if that changes things, but really the phone is back to "normal" and charges in a few hours so I'm happy with that. Thanks once again.

Truee broo, gumana na ulit yung akin. Grabeh 13 months pa lang sya di na agad nag charge. Siguro yung issue is sa build design kasi mahina yung pressure ng mga board sa flexy cable.
Thanks bro..its work.. but during removal the rear cover part, the inner layer of colour is peel of..so i removed the layer, now my cover is transparent..looks cool to see inside with the cover..
For the issue, i just remove the speaker cover bottom part and put 5 layer of electical tape on top on the conector..its done.

Hello, you're welcome. Enjoy your phone. :)
i did the same like you, they repaired 1 time by replace the flex cable.
But got same issue.
So repaired by myself with your video and its done, i go put new glue and aluminium tape instead of electrical when i receive it.
Hi. Great that it works again. In the descriptions, I advice to use a fireproof aluminium tape instead of electrical tape. I also used aluminium tape later.
i did this and my Poco F2 Pro phone started charging again.
It is unacceptable for the phone that was bought 4 months ago to give this malfunction.

this is same in my first work, after wards the phone back to my desk again. so sometips here in youtube they use jump wire to sub board to main board, very risky. to help gain volts while charging now its working ☺️
Hi. Great that it worked. Modifying the charging board is very risky. If it doesn't work like shown in my video, just replace the phone and buy newer models. I've got the Poco F3, F4 and F4 GT, which work perfectly.
Worked excellent. Shame on me, that I watched this video after buying new charging board : /
Thanks! Though during the fix I had an issue, after trying to boot the power button did not work, which had me for a good scare until I got the main board out. Turns out the connector for the buttons is next to the screw in the bottom left of the main board, and since the main board was loose there was no connection. Fixed by putting that screw back in
Hey. Great that your phone is fixed now. Good to know that the power button doesn't work while the screw is loose.
Thanks a lot for uploading this video! I found out by applying pressure that the charging port wasnt broken. I started with taping the bottom connector as this seemed to be easiest place to start (not experienced in opening phones) and the problem was fixed, so no need for me to open the motherboard first! Thank you so much. Now i just need to wait till the glue arrives to glue it back togheter :-)

what kind of glue did you use

I think I will try this method first as mine has started to play up in charging although not severe. Seems to charge properly when I turn the phone screen face down.
thanks. yes this is the issue in mine as well. i was worried then watched your video and punched the back of Poco F2 pro two to three times and i think that was enough to put the pressure on connections and now it is charging well
tqvm for this tutorial! the additional buffer on the battery part is the solution for my case

@@prshazam8290 hola! Sí que funcionó pero al paso de unos días volvió a dar problemas, al final tuve que cambiar el cable flex y ahora sí que está perfecto. Hey, can I ask you a question? Is it still working unto now? Cause I've encountered the same problem right now, and when I'm putting pressure into the bottom flex in my phone it charges but when I release my thumb it will not charge again, I think I need to put your solution onto the bottom flex, am I right? Or do I also need it to apply at the top flex?

Very good, my phone is now charging to. The T-7000 Glue will arrive tomorrow. I fix it until the delivery with an elastic band.
Hey. Nice that your phone works again. 8 used a case until the glue was delivered.
Worked for me aswell. Thank you so much sire! :)
