I can tell you are following him in a giant trance x 29er! I have one I am currently selling, I brought a 2022 Giant Reign E+ 3 with sram wireless shifting and rockshox Zeb fork on the used market first ebike, anxious to ride her!
Nice . that's a pretty chunky and rough trail to be trying out a new e bike. it takes a while to find the sweet spot with the gears and assist levels .
I got a 2020 Trance e+pro 1 a few months back. A lot of fun, good bike. They do take time to get used to but I am starting to throw it around a bit more now. Also, you should have a walk function that assist pushing it uphill on foot.
Rode it a few times more, not shown in this video and it got more comfortable. But not aware of the walk function, we'll definitely look into that. Thanks.
you can see it's the small frame as it has the protectors mounted to the downtube underside to prevent the 38's from damaging the frame. They only come with the small frame. I'm 5'11" and chose the Large

You are correct, not a very easy trail to be practicing. we actually never thought about that until recently. And yes, sweet spot is the key. Thanks.

Nice video
By the way the motor is pwx3 not ep8.
Good to know. Thanks for the info. Glad you enjoyed the video. We really enjoyed the bike.
Once you ride a eMTB it sucks to climb with a normal bike.
True that.
How tall are you guys? What size frame did you choose? Thanks
About 5'5" and 5'8". And the Frame is small.

Change the stock tyres, as they are useless especially the high roller on the back
good tip. thank you. they really are not that great.
it doesnt have a walk mode?
It does. We just didn't know at that time. :)
