Yeah that was golden time in saudi for foreign contractors. A lot more american contractors that time now there are none all left. Nothing is going on there now as far as foreign contracts goes.
One thing that pisses me off about the west is how much they talk down and show so much negative imagery of places like Africa, China, parts of the Middle East, even Russia , yet you go there and it’s so much more modern, advanced even culturally and socially. I’ve been to the Middle East many times and absolutely loved it. Even China was amazing. I will admittedly say that I was ignorant to how developed and beautiful they were. The west just fills your mind with such negative perceptions and imagery of these places and it’s nothing like that.
Riyadh is very beautiful city , neat and clean with immersive infrastructure. Just a few more years then Riyadh will be more futuristic and developed under the great leadership of Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I have a question for some of you. I read that shops, or some shops, don't have to close for prayers anymore. Is that true? Is is voluntary if it IS true? Does the staff get to take turns at prayers so someone is in the store front or do they hire some non Muslim persons to be there for clients and customers so the other staff are free to go to pray?
