Truth I have been saying the same thing too for years I just never understood the hype. One problem is comprarison to the past. These recent players are not those guys at all. They can't stop the run or run the football. Any team that can run has beat them 5 years like the guy says. They do not have enough weapons on offense to come back against good teams for the last 3 years. They need some type of run game and another big time receiver to help Dak. Defense needs some of everything except maybe cornerbacks not sure of about that either. Although diggs is good but no bland.So that might be exposed more later in season.
I don’t think our runners are the problems. Our run scheme is the clear problem. Our rbs don’t get the blocks or the holes opened up and are often forced to run into brick walls. Zeke got hands they need to mix it up. Dak can’t crack under pressure he’s gotta get us 6 when it’s a shootout like it was last week.
The analytics say our line is giving the running backs room. They should be rushing 5.4ypc according to the numbers but they're averaging around 3ypc. Runners are definitely part of the problem. Lamb is more like an Alvin Harper type receiver than a Michael Irvin. Cooper wouldn't make much of a difference at this time. Dak is a dud. Not worth that salary.
