- In 1953, The CIA overthrew the popular government of premier Doctor Mosaddegh. He had nationalised the Iranian Oil Industry. The British government owned the Iranian oil wealth at that time. British premier Winston Churchil ordered MI6 to overthrow Doctor Mosaddegh. The British intelligence did it with the help of the American intelligence agency CIA. The Iranian monarch Mohammad Reza Pahlavi also supported the coup. How did the CIA orchestrate this coup? Let’s find out.

I heard about overthrown of Mohammad Mosaddegh in Imran Khan speeches. I wanted to know more about that regime change operaion executed by American's CIA. Thank you Faisal Warraich & Team DSJ for passing such historical information. The timing of your video is superb because Pakistan right now facing the same situation. I have a question. Why US released documentary proof of its conspiracy and accepted the mistake publicly? I am not convinced that it was due to regret. Realists never feel regret based on their conscious or negative results. There must be something else.
Its a commong US policy to declassify documents after a certain period of time , so their think tanks and policy makers analyze the strategies and and its mistakes. Its not out of the good of their heart.
