Thanks for Posting, certainly my least favorite of the trail segments. I wish they could put a dedicated bike lane or extend the path so it's not dis-jointed. I'm not a fan of riding my bike on the roads with cars.

I would post for public safety, that there are much safer routes other than using rt. 51.

Remember - this video was shot from a vehicle. Once you get there and eyeball it you can choose to cross in a different place.

It's not a true detour but I have slid behind Slaters and used some backstreets to avoid the big traffic.

I appreciate this. My friends and I are planning to do the full run from Coraopolis to Clairton. These types of videos help with navigating the street only sections. If you have any tips for us that might make the journey better from a navigation standpoint, let me know. Love this trail!
