In this video I am making one of the final items for my new leather workshop. I had a similar item in the old workshop which I found useful for pinning up orders to keep track of them. This new one is much more fancy as I wanted it to also look nice and be some decoration on the wall. I tool a slab of waney edge english yew which I then spent a long time working on to get it shaped and nicely sanded. I used a Festool LR 32 hole drilling set with the OF1400 router to make a series of neat hole which I then glued magnets into. I used the Creality Falcon 2 laser engraver from previous videos to engrave my logo and then finished it with a Rubio Monocoat finish ('pure' colour). I'm super pleased with how this turned out! I did use a lot of nice tools to make it (why not if you have them available) however this could also be done with all hand tools if you wanted to with just a drill and some careful measuring. Video not sponsored in any way, details added because people usually ask what's being used.
Another excellent piece of craftsmanship!! I am forever excited to see a new video from you, in my que! Trusting your health is hanging in there. Always best wishes in that area!
Hello Ian, Fantastic idea, great to see you back 👍 Hope you are keeping well & here's wishing you a Very Merry Xmas & a Prosperous New Year when they come
