I'm about to try yamaha bearings on mine this weekend. I did this with my swing arm already (with some fabrication work) but no more replacing them garbage honda unsealed race bearing sets every 6 months. We ride to much for all that. I have bigger sealed bearings lifetime warranty. I'm doing this with everything bearing and bushing on my Foreman, Hondas are great but Yamaha towers Honda on these type of component parts, stronger and more durable. Honda changed this poor setup on the generation after ours.
I’ve got a question…. I’ve already got all bearing and such in. But in the bearing kit I’ve got it’s also got two small like bushings and I have no idea where they go didn’t see any taking it apart
I can't say for sure this is the case... but the kit you used could be for multiple applications. Which maybe on another model they do use those bushings.... I've seen that before on other parts that I've gotten.
the knuckles can wear out too.... but if it went back in ok and there isn't any play in that department.... you should be ok.... if it still has a lot of wobble, maybe the bearings that you put in aren't a good replacement bearing? are they OEM or aftermarket ones? I have seen some aftermarket ones have some play. even if they were all torqued correctly.
Thank you, will tear it all apart and recheck. I did use a after market bearing. But it bothers me why the old bearing just flew out of the knuckle. At the end of the first install I could grab onto the cv joint close to the knuckle and movement up and down. Hoping just a bad day for me. Thank you for your help. Steve
very good video I am going to replace the wheel bearing and a arm bushing as I've been looking at videos for that thanks again
Great video. I'm about to tackle this job and this is perfect preparation to do so.

Great video, I did all that you did to install new bearing and seal but I still have a lot of wheel wobble and everything is tight. Can you help?
Hi, also could the knuckle be bad? The bearing came out with just one easy hit. The new one seem to tap in ok. Thanks for any reply. Steve
