Live coaching is usually just do this, do that, etc. It's not as beneficial because a lot of the time they don't really fully understand why they're doing it. Especially for these more advanced concepts it's much harder to process and understand this information while playing the game. It's much better to vod review so they can fully understand the "why's".
there was a point where you both talk about jg tracking but i think its worth to note here that baus is rly famous and ppl know he gives a lot of deaths so usually he gets ganked when it doesnt make sence. for example when i played against him in toplane my jgler was spam pinging on my way and we killed him over and over when my jg shouldnt have been ganking him or even be topside. im saying that when he plays on his known accs it wouldnt hurt to ask for vision from mid and overall playing slightly more safe in my humble opinion.Anyways great video as always!

I wouldn't say forgiving, that's why you see all the people trying to copy him go 0/10 and down 30 cs and griefing games. His wave management is still better than anyone under masters. The reason it works is because his mechanics are great and he's knowledgeable in other aspects of the game.
Wow first Alois video I've seen, I don't even play top, it has me interested I love the macro details. This man is a great teacher, concise language, sound logic.
This day I watched TheBausffs new video and mentioned the coaching, then he talked about weakside and many fundamentals and then I said: "No way, Alois was the coach", and then I see this video and effectively, Alois created a monster.
He also said it was alois on that stream and I think while alois is doing great stuff coaching wise and also really improved as a player and person since his sk times, It is not like he invented weaksides and etc anyone in competitive league knows this and most high ELO players as well those are general terms used by players and not something he invented.
Hey alois! Great video! I have a question/suggestion that maybe others have too: In what way does e.g. your fundamentals course differ from the fundamentals one gets taught by simply watching your videos/streams? I think you should emphazise on why the fundamentals course is worth buying even for someone who regularly watches your content (examples without giving too much away). Also: do you prefer that someone does your course first before booking a coaching session with you? Thanks!
I asked something similar on the Camille guide - asking for clarification on the Patreon content vs the Fundamental course. I don't have either at the moment, I just watch all Alois' videos & streams/VODs, but from what I've gathered from the preview video, he goes into a lot more detail in the course than he does in his videos. The content on the course is much more focused on the topic, giving all the information & examples, with Alois himself prompting you to recall the information, whereas his videos are more of a 'Remember to do this here, I'm doing X, Y, Z now" etc.
Ye this is pretty accurate. The concepts and topics I talk about in my course are also in my videos and games too, however they're moreso on the spot( the examples in my games). The biggest difference with the course is that you learn how to use them all together and also have each individual topic explained in full detail rather than a short version or a situational version of it. So you start off with learning how jungle tracking works and then we keep expanding on it until you're able to start seeing patterns and habits that I try to ingrain so you know how to apply it to your own games and how to apply them together. Ofc the course also has the most clear and digestable examples so it makes it easier to replicate. With Patreon, it's moreso a storage for educational vods from all champs / series that I do overtime, and I store most of my coaching sessions there to also have it accessible to people with lower budgets but still be very worthwhile. ( Currently like 100 sessions + on there ) if you have any questions always feel free to reach out on discord @@q7Hx
Been watching you for a few months now and am a big Baus fan. I think Baus was getting a bit arrogant with his whole Messi thing and not taking criticism well. Baus always complain about losing laning phase everygame, but he wins through macro and mechanical superiority. I'm afraid to think how would be a Baus that actually wins lane xD
what I really like about high-elo players is how humble they can be. people on low brackets think they know everything, they never play bad and none of the losses are their fault. if anyone tryna teach them, they would think "pff what do you know dude" and the top players are always so chill, they admit bad plays, they're well aware that they can learn new things, and they're so open for improvement. I find it funny how the ego and skill goes and comes to wrong places, and the actual beasts of this game saying "i'm bad" more times than people who are sitting on the bottom of the ladder. really wholesome vid, respect for both of you
there's way more than enough examples of high elo streamers not admitting their mistakes on stream. With a coach on replay it's easy to do so. In the heat of the moment they're just like the silvers "BUUT WHY ARE THERE 3 PEOPLE ON MY LANE" and so on and so forth
