The only other celebrity I've seen do kicks and leg movements like that is Giovanni's former partner, Debbie McGee. Although I'd expect Debbie to be able to do the leg movements and flicks been trained in ballet.

Watching this amongst all of her performances I have realised that Rose's deafness has actually been her superpower and has actually given her an advantage throughout the competition. In dance the follower follows the leader but the leader must follow the music and with Rose (the follower) not being able to follow the music, she has no choice but to just follow the expert lead of Giovanni as intended, which she does superbly with a 100% signal-to-noise ratio. If Giovani is always on the music, Rose will never be off the music. Rose doesn't do what she does in spite of her disability, she does what she does because of her 'disability'. What an inspiration.

That works best with dances in close position, that's why she does ballroom so well
True when in close hold and Gio has said its like dancing with a pro as she follows him, but how she manages to do the counting, steps and timing in everything else is just incredible.
I’m pretty certain they said somewhere that their waltz took about three hours to ‘learn’ and I’m guessing it’s because rose doesnt really need to know the dance as she just follows giovanni. It definitely is her superpower in ballroom and more in hold dances like this

Thank you Rose. Im severely hearing impaired and accepting of living in a mostly muffled world. I loathe my hearings aids. I kinda wear them to hear the jumbled groan of bird song, roaring traffic, humming appliances - who knew a vacuum cleaner could make a such a noise. I love my quiet world, I don't feel I miss out on when I do much and here you are showing me possibilities: I don't think I could do what you do and despite our shared experience ' I wouldn't vote for you if you hadn't provided some of the most beautiful moments in our shared, quiet world. Go win babe, you are an inspiration, the best dancer on the show and you and Gio together are gold. Thank you.

This was THE best thing in the entire series so far this year, I don’t think that I breathed until the very end. Also, the moment at 1:21 was perfection!

First she makes me cry with that waltz and then THIS. What do I even say about this? We saw the sensual side to Rose with this dance and I could not take my eyes off her! Her skill was so impressive, the chemistry was off the charts and the entire performance was something else. Best Argentine Tango I've seen on the show! She commanded the floor in a way she never has before, and I LOVE seeing this side of her! Rose has proven what a dynamic contestant she is and how she rises to the challenge every time, this pairing deserves every success!

Two professionals at work here. I think Rose has a skill that comes from within and cannot be taught or learnt. She dances like it has always been within her and I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to watch every week ❤
I give Rose and Giovanni 10 out of 10! I was mesmerised. Some of the most beautiful leg lines and interlocking of the legs I've ever seen. Beautiful lifts, connection, chemistry, footwork. I'm in awe of you, Rose.

Rose danced this with sass and sensuality, but somehow daintiness at the same time! She really made it her own. Bravo! 👏 👏
The first tango I've seen on Strictly that actually had ochos. Her boleos were amazing. Rose's dancing always makes my heart swell with love. She wows me every time.
This is the definition of an Argentine Tango - the reaction - to Gio's lead was amazing. Also, how she got down into her knees and makes it look pro-Esque (0:41) and the fact her feet point out when passing through it's brilliant technically. 10.

I have an unhealthy obsession with this Argentine Tango. Love an Argentine Tango when it's done traditionally without the unnecessary lifts or show-off spins clinging to your partner's neck like your clinging to a lamppost in hurricane winds!
This Argentine Tango would not be out of place in Buenos Aires. 😘 I don't think there are any superlatives to describe this dance, but this was foremost sensual but the undertone was passionately sexy. 🔥🔥

Oooh what a dance, when you get a tingle from head to toe you know it’s good. They made it look so easy and the way Rose tuned into her sensual side was amazing and looked natural and not forced. She looked like a woman in charge of her sexuality and confidence. Amazing

I knew this was gonna be epic but DAMN ROSE PUT GIO IN HIS PLACE!!! The characterization that Gio had when Rose held his head and put it back in place. That was a 10 right there! There was so much embrace in hold from the beginning to the end. Ochos. sacadas. and ganchos was executed sultry and clean. The mood made the dance and the lift at the end was the cherry on top. HOT AND SEXY!!! LOVED IT!!!

Nothing will ever beat this pairing for me.
It’s unbelievable how Rose is pinpoint accuracy without being able to hear the music. I’d love to know how she’s achieving these dances. She says she counts but didn’t count on Saturday. Watching it at half speed, I think she reads Gio’s body at a slowed down speed - it’s amazing!!!!

I believe she may have just been following Giovanni's lead (like she always does) plus reading his body so she can feel the music or 'hear' it through him, and relying then on muscle memory alone for the steps and where to place them. Rose is a born dancer, but she just needed someone to be a guiding light for her to explore that world, even if only through a TV series. Giovanni was that guiding light she needed.
Have to say, if Rose had come to the show much earlier and was paired with Giovanni, I'm not sure how he'd have handled having a deaf partner. As he's been on the show now for several years, he's learned (kind of) to tone down the ego or when to park it, although it has come out a few times with Rose.
You count in your head if you are professional, which she is!!
Her musicality is always on point. Rose is incredible. Gorgeous woman 🌹😍
My cousin's daughter is profoundly deaf and was a wonderful dancer. I'm a dance teacher and international judge and she felt the vibrations in her feet. Rose and Tara (my cousin's daughter) were the definition of dancers, they didn't just hear the music they felt it through their entire bodies......Mary

Best Argentine Tango ever. Rose and Gio to win.
Rose captures the imagination like no other dancer I’ve watched on this show. She is truly phenomenal, not to mention utterly adorable.
Absolutely stunning ... mirroring each other .. I love watching Rose and Giovanni ... they are made for each as dancing partners ... I don't want their dancing to end ... Just out of this World
It's been 2 weeks now. I must have played this 200 times. As far as celebrities on Strictly goes...this is as good as it gets. It'll never be bettered. I don't even want to mention Rose's disability - on her own merits she's the best dancer the show has seen in 18 years. And Giovanni is clearly an absolute genius.

This dance was just pure perfection, couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Really mesmerising! Rose and Giovanni are clear winners!

This was to die for!!! Its by far one of the most beautiful dances I've ever seen on strictly, the setting, the mood, the costume, the music, the choreography!!! The frame was absolutely perfect, every single line was there, it had so much intent and emotion, even at the start when her hands were slowly getting closer to Giovanni it had definition and meaning. The ganchos were on a pro level and the leg kicking sequence at the end was magical! It really is such a dream to watch them perform they bring something to the floor that no other couple can bring! This was perfection, pointed feet all the way through, their bodies were totally in contact and connected it was really a work of art, I'm never going to forget this performance EVERRRR!!! THIS WILL LIVE ON IN STRICTLY HISTORY, GIO HAS TO FINALLY WIN, THEY HAVE TO WIN!!! 👑

Wow what a dance, I cannot stop watching it, every landing was perfect, what I call the 'Pendulum Swing' of Roses's legs staring at 1:19 is breathtaking, besides the fact that Rose is a brilliant dancer is her sense of humour, when Claudia asked her to describe this dance she said 'Passionate, Traditional and very,very close' she then has a little giggle and says 'Smelly Breath' .. priceless. Rose and Gio for the win
She's absolutely amazing. And Gio is an incredible choreographer. I can hear and would be a very pale comparison to her. She deserves absolutely every accolade - not because she's deaf, because she's outstandingly wonderful at dancing.
How is this literally like 2 professional dancers showing us how the dance is done? Rose is just an inspiration and Giovanni is an outstanding teacher
That was outstanding! The chemistry between them was off the scale. Rose is a brilliant actor and dancer and Giovanni is a fantastic teacher.
Simply exquisite!!! The unperturbed elegance and perfect execution of this sensual dance is just astounding. There will never be another Rose and Giovanni in the dance floor as far as I am concern.
It takes years to make some of those kicks and flicks look effortless, Rose is the winner in eyes!
I have watched strictly ever year since the start and I can honestly say I've never seen such an Argentine Tango including Vincent or Flavia with a celebrity pairing.. wow, wow and wow.. iconic and I suspect I will still watch it in another 20 years.. rose and gio deserve to win 😍🎉
Totally captivating and memorising from start to finish, or as my partner put it (a man of few words) hypnotic! I hope I'll be back here watching it in 20 years too :) The AT choreography from Leandro and Maria has been off the charts this series but they definitely saved the best to last. Last AT of the series, last dance of the night, and last dance of the semi-finals - wow, wow, wow! Can only imagine how electrifying it felt to be there live watching! In total awe of both of these beautiful, talented and wonderful humans.

@@aleksandernowak3920 ,,Nasze" występy poza nielicznymi wyjątkami nawet nie stały obok tych ze strictly. Ubolewam nad tym, bo sporo uczestników miało warunki. Choreografowie powinni przed następną edycją usiąść, obejrzeć kilkadziesiąt tańców na tym kanale i uczyć się od najlepszych!

Another perfect routine. At this point Rose is really living up to the massive hype which I'm glad to see. Her technique is always so precise and Giovanni's choreography really is something else, especially ATs, and this is no exception. I loved every second of this. The balance and precision were next level from Rose and I completely believe in their partnership in this and each dance. I couldn't fault it and I see why she's so likely to win now. She's a deserving finalist (and even winner) for sure!

I loved the look of pride on Giovanni’s face at the end of the dance. He looked so proud of Rose & rightly so. The best dance of the series for me.
This was truly sensational. The connection from start to finish and the atmosphere they created was electric. Obviously the footwork and leg action was great, but for me it’s the tiny details. Look at the way she places her hands on Gio at the beginning, the positioning of her fingers, the way she finishes her lines. Rose has turned in to a tremendous dancer, bravo!

One of the best dances since the series commenced, and there's been some good ones.
Absolutely amazing Rose and Gio, your Argentine tango is the dance of the year.
The lift at 1:20 though, it looks so simple and elegant but the tension she needs to have to hold her pose, and flow through the movement perfectly is astonishing.
The whole dance, top to bottom, exquisite.
It was pure gold from start to finish. It was sublime, utterly professional, breathtaking from every single aspect - the way they looked in each other eyes, they was Rose interpreted the music with her movement, the way she caressed the floor with her feet, her lightness of movement, her perfect lines, her seamless dancing that was softer than the softest silk in the world. It was like watching two professional dancers. I did not want it to stop! It was so masterful, so skillful; I was feeling like I am watching two professional Argentine Tango dancers, as though I was given an opportunity being present at their stage show. This Argentine Tango was not the usual one presented on the show, but it was what's called "Tango Nuevo" - a type of Argentine Tango that is softer, more lyrical, more "Rumba" in its feeling... and this routine was a master class of a Tango Nuevo! Rose did something phenomenal, unbelievable, enchanting... it was flawless in every possible way - the passion, the softness of her feet and hands, Rose was like a feather and Giovanni was like a poet writing with this feather, unbelievable lightness, mesmerizing musicality by Rose, she felt every single beat of the music, she acted every single beat and she created a perfect picture with her body in every single beat... she completely mastered the style, she tamed the music, she has done an impeccable job. It took my breath away. I don't want to add anything. Just watch this dance again and again. My score: with enormous pleasure - a 10!!!

It gets better with every watch, and it was exquisite right from the off. Gorgeous music choice. They were both sensuous, understated yet abundant with elegant detail, soft staccato..... and urgent, but with plenty of time. This one out smarts them all.

I am not easily swayed. This, however, was a truly outstanding performance.
Rose had already impressed me with her 'leap of faith' in their American Smooth where Giovani HAD to catch her, or she would hit the deck !
I had taken in the message from their Contemporary Dance, where the music went silent, to demonstrate the difficulties that Rose experienced throughout the competition, and it was still a lovely piece to watch.
This Argentine Tango however, was a masterclass in how it should be done.
The dress, the make-up, the hair, the mind set were all perfectly in place.
A dark, sultry, jealously possessive entanglement between two lovers, who danced their hearts out to each other, regardless of anyone else.
Two dancers, yet moving as one, so smoothly that one could truly believe. This was gorgeous to watch.

I thought Nicole Scherzinger/ Derek Hough's argentine tango in Dancing With the Stars couldn't be topped, both technically and emotionally, and she's a pro! But this keeps giving me goose bumps and moves me everytime I watch it. Sometimes to tears, always leaves me with a smile.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Now, THIS is a very intimate Argentine Tango that I have ever seen on Strictly Come Dancing! The best dance of the month. One of the best dance ever in the whole series of Strictly Come Dancing. This is just absolutely mind-blowing, so intense and out of world! Rose did it in the perfect timing, very clean footwork, exquisite framing, strongest chemistry and she’s so acting like a professional! For me personally, this is the most sexiest dance ever. Absolute HOT, HOT, HOT! I think in my opinion, no one ever beat their Argentine tango and they did way much better than anyone else’s Argentine Tango. Their Latin dances just slowly keeps getting better and better then towards the last and the final dance was absolutely amazing. In my opinion, this is way much better than their previous dance Waltz. The way Rose and Giovanni became very intimate in their Argentine Tango was absolutely off the chart. This is the BEST Argentine Tango ever in the history of Strictly Come Dancing! It was more like 11/10! Best Latin dance EVER!!!!!!!!🥵❤️🔥🔥
