Just got one of these, love it! The headstock on mine looks almost like a legit Tele. Pups aren't microphonic at all on mine. I figured I'd be changing them out but for now they're staying in. Not bragging but just for context I've owned guitars in the $2,000 to $7,000 range and this firefly relic tele isn't really that far off from any of them. Great playing BTW, keep rocking!
@@justinbishopmusic just get a crock pot, I put marbles on the bottom so I don't melt the plastics. Then I have a couple boxes of canning wax. Melt the wax and then you put the pickups in for 10 mins or so. Take them out, wipe the excess and let them cool. Boom no more squeal.

Great demo! Looking at one of these now. Not sure if you’ve done this on other guitars, but I do the Ask Zac wiring trick on all my teles (bypasses tone control on the neck pickup). It definitely adds some clarity and punch to the neck pickup. Cheers!
New players nowadays don't know how good they've got it when it comes to budget guitars. In 86 when I started playing a $200 was not going to be anywhere near this nice.
Ha! I bought it myself. I really love it! Now the Strat with Floyd Rose…i couldn’t keep it in tune to save my life. But this one is solid! I changed the pickguard to turquoise and put in Seymour Duncan Pickups. Check out my most recent video short to hear it.

Great demo! I really appreciate that you went through all the staple clean and crunch tones. This is definitely on my wish list!

These guitars are so good! It’s grown on me even more the longer I’ve had it!
Why can’t I buy one up here in Canada?
Just bought one. Waiting on shipping. Be interested to see if the pickups will be microphonic as well.
I put Seymour Duncan’s in mine and it’s like a custom shop Fender for a fraction of the price.
@ I was thinking tonerider pickups would be a good sounding pickup set while still keeping the cost under control.
I have the relic strat with the maple neck. The only thing I did was repot the pickups. It is unreal!
Oooohhh…I’d like to know how to do that!

Sounds great and for the money, impressive!
That looks and sounds great! Gonna order one this week🤘🏼Nice playing.

Nice review bud! You've got skills that can make any guitar sound good! Cheers
Thanks! 🙏 I’m working on it!

I mean under $200……wow! FF has some good stuff imo.
Phenomenal! These necks are unbelievable. I’m going to put some Seymour Duncan pickups on this one, but the stock ones aren’t all that bad.
Any fret buzz on this one?
No. The action was great! Very low. No buzz.
How many days after ordering before it was shipped? I ordered six days ago and haven't heard anything yet.
It took the site a few days to update with tracking but was shipped in 2 days. I received it a week after ordering.
@@justinbishopmusic Thanks. I got a tracking number yesterday saying it just left Ontario CA and was delivered to me today about noon in AZ
