Thanks for the info. This was scaring me from buying one and the constant maintenance. I do about 200 - 300 orders a month. But also leave for month at a time a few times a year. I need to create more detailed logos with graphic tees.
I currently outsource my shirts for screen printing locally. I only pay $1.20 for up to 3 colors and they press my accent logos and inside neck label I provide for 25 cents each. I also pay them to fold and bag for another 25cents a item. (The pricing and quality is great)
But my logos are limited and I’m always behind in inventory, because I outsource, so it’s hard to scale.
So I’ve been contemplating buying a commercial dtf printer so I never have inventory problems and add graphic tees.
I don't have large size printer 😁
But i learn lot from this channel... Thank you ❤️
Thank you for watching our videos and supporting
hello, what's the name of the lubricant solution you use in 2ML?
Thank you
Hello thank for the info ,
What about when you come back from vacationing.. do the same or just jump into the nozzle test and good to go?
Do you have to put the lubricant in all the nozzle. Or only one nozzle is enough
How long of a vacation will this work for? What if it needs to be stored for 2 months?
Do you do this process to all the damper?
Yes each line.
Hello, im just seeing this. Do you just do all the White Dampers or the CMYK also?
We do this to all channels when leaving for extended periods
What dtf printer are you using?..
Do you just keep the white ink in the printer and turn it off ( no circulation )? I'm about to close down for 3 weeks and a little concerned about how the state of the white ink would be when coming back.
As long as you clean the printhead manifold and add vacation solution to keep it moisturized, it should be fine. My recommendation when you return is to turn on your printer and let it run for a few hours so that the white ink circulates well before even doing your first head clean. You might want to even syringe the ink in your lines before running ink through your print heads. I'm sure you will notice some separation in your white in.
Awesome idea, thanks bro
Bro if i put distil water have any problem
@@kaisar.bdahmed5535 it’s better than not putting anything. The printhead is so expensive these days I would invest in anything to keep them going
Hello! Thanks for this beautiful info, can i do this method too for my UV printer, will this method work for UV printer, thanks again
I'm not familiar with UV printing. I'm not sure if it takes the same liquid.
I’d love to be able to use this on my 8550. Do you have a suggestion on how to do that since it doesn’t have a similar printhead/dampers that can be removed. Thanks!
I’m not familiar with your printer. We print with a large format printer.
Hey, I love these videos you are making very knowledgeable & informative. Question what are the steps you would take once you are back from vacaction?
Thank you! We suggest starting off by mixing the ink well. Followed by a few strong head cleanings until you get good nozzle checks.
@@OtzleeExplains Thank you so much. My i3200 head is clogged up because I didn’t wetcap it for 4 days and now impossible to unclog had to learn it the hard way 😭
ouch! Sorry to hear! We wetcap even when leaving for an hour lunch. Keeps the heads moist
more than two days with the moisturizer inside, damages the tiny spaces between the channels, am I wrong?
Not with the moisturizing solution. This is the same solution used when they ship your transfers from overseas. Sometimes the printer will sit in the pallet for months.
It is hard to find DTF moisture Fluid in Euro, have to oder from Aliexpress and it take month
Can I use distilled warter to fill printer head ?
You can but I wouldn't recommend leaving the printhead unused for a long period of time.
@@transfersuperstarswhat If I go on vacation but i use remote desktop to control my PC to run clean head everyday, is this keep my DTF printer alive ?
Leaving Cleaning Solution inside the Head May cuase the inside panal damage, I have experience this problem before on xp600 heads
This is not cleaning solution, it is a maintenance moisturizer
@@transfersuperstars can I have the name and more information about this liquid?
you put that in just one nozzel /white/damper
or do you have to do that for all
Every nozzle. Flush first then put 2ml ofvacation solution in
Yes but to just one section of the damper or do it to all the damper sections?
i only find battery distilled water out here there is no distill water for printer.
Try to find some distilled water. If not, some printhead cleaning solution.
