Gday Glen great video as usual, with killer No.3 what role do the hands and arms play in the downswing? Does the hip turn start it and the hands just follow passively or different?

thanks Glen, great video. I reckon I'm a bit guilty of no. 3 I do try and lead with my hips. I cant wait to give the drill a go and see if I can make better contact. What is the most likely symptom of #3, fat shots?

Thank you for your question Paul. Typical symptoms of starting the downswing with the upper body include steep swing plane, over the top downswing and early release. Therefore mishits, slow clubhead speed and crooked shots are common. We look for to hearing how you go with the ‘Step’ drill. Cheers, Glen

Yes ...all three are killers. I’ve suffered from all 3. I solved No 2 by pushing my knees a teeny bit in towards each other so that you can feel your weight on the inside of your feet. This effectively reduces a sway and allows you to turn within your pelvis and also get a feel for the ground. I’d add a fourth point to your video and that is the ability to swing past a stationary head. Upper body and thus head movement is another swing killer. At least for me. Thanks for the video!
