Even though I'm in Canada and don't have trader Joe's, it's nice to have some ideas in the back pocket for lazy days! Many things similar enough that we can get up here
My recent fav is the marinated chickpeas (in the short flat can), rice (leftover works great!), marinated artichokes, a sprinkle of hemp seeds, and if I have some roasted veg I’ll add that too! So easy and the only thing that needs to be warm is the rice!
My go to lazy Trader Joe's meals is their vegan pesto with a protein pasta and just throw mushroom and spinach in there with lemon juice on top. It is so good! Would love to see it spruced up
I love this video!! I feel like it's the perfect reminder that even on a rainy day, we are able to make something quick and tasty (and vegan of course!)
Good ideas but I think it would be better to add more fresh or frozen Trader Joe’s vegetables to at least one recipe to lessen the processed aspect, but enjoyed the video
The vegetable biryani and the panang are also HELL of good wrapped in those pancakes! I have been doing that for months, but kind of embarrassed by it! Glad to have the validation!
I haven’t tried it but I can imagine the bag of falafel they sell in the freezer section would probably be really good inside the green onion scallion wraps too :)
I never thought of putting the vegan beef and green onion pancake together, though I’ve had them separately 1 million times. Genius! I think I’ll throw in spinach or something green though.
This is such a great series! I'm a first time mom and it's been really hard to find time to cook in so having these quick Trader Joe's meals helps me so much and ensures im able to actually eat something substantial throughout the day. 😊
This is one of my favorite series! I am pregnant, chasing a 2 year and we both work fulltime. We need shortcuts! Also we just recently started to implement more plant based foods in our lives and this makes it so much easier. Thank you!!
Love to see your other easy/lazy vegan meals here on UA-cam ... for those of us who don't do Instagram, that'd be great! So glad you recommended the scallion pancake as it is delicious. Tried the rice and looking forward to the pizza idea.
I made the fried Japanese rice in some coconut oil. Then I added the bulgogi beef. That was pretty good. Another one I did was to add the bulgogi beef to the Trader Joe's whole wheat tortillas and top with kimchi, shredded romaine lettuce, and Vegenaise. That was like a Korean beef taco but not overly spicy because the Vegenaise cools things off. Same trip I tried the whole wheat burger buns and the tater tots which I don't like much. The tots if you serve with a lot of chopped onion and ketchup and Veganaise, you can kind of choke down. The buns make me feel funny after I eat them. I am not sure what is wrong with them. I had those Mandarin chicken nuggets before. I think they were okay, nothing spectacular, kind of like Gardein orange chicken nuggets. I also tried the whole wheat pita bread and it wasn't great. You had half the pita fused to itself and the taste isn't that good either. I don't know if they are using some kind of glysophate treated wheat, but they don't have a wholesome nourishing taste to them. I like the taste of the Toufayans better. You get those at the regular grocery store.
You're talking my language, I'm the laziest cook ever, lol. Last week I threw together the Spanish rice mixed with soy chorizo and the giant baked beans and it was really good.
My store only had the Scallion pancakes today, and they have egg and didnt look like a wrap (looked more like an omelette. I'll have to go back to check again for the Green Onion Pancakes
FYI I have made all these recipes as I am trying to simplify our meals as family planning. Life savers! Hubby loves these recipes so much and they don't take all day for me to prepare!
I love this type of video! ❤ I recently discovered the peanut and crispy noodle salad kit, and love making it up with some chicken less nuggets, green onions, and sriracha. I feel like there is probably more that can be done with it!
please make this a series! as much as i love watching other people make home cooked meals on youtube, i am quite a lazy cook and tend to lean towards quick and easy. usually stick to wraps and sandwiches because anything between bread is good. :)
I love “cooking” this way for my vegan dinners. My favorite easy meal is spaghetti, canned black beans, pasta sauce and a topping of raw chopped red onion.
Would love to see you expand this to other stores . We all need a few staple "recipes" we can just throw together. Thank you also for the inspiration to mix things up .
That is an awesome idea using Trader Joe’s green onion pancakes as a wrap 👍 I love it❤😋
Even though I'm in Canada and don't have trader Joe's, it's nice to have some ideas in the back pocket for lazy days! Many things similar enough that we can get up here
Try the orange chickn with the riced cauliflower stir fry!! It’s amazing
Chris did you choke again that was cut out 😂😂

As a German I'm so jealous at all the cool products you can get your hands on...
Trader Joe's is a German owned store. I think it is owned by Aldi/Lidl.
@@Babu-kr3cr Possibly, still all of those things aren't available here...
I love this video!! I feel like it's the perfect reminder that even on a rainy day, we are able to make something quick and tasty (and vegan of course!)

I love this idea! I always like to keep a couple throw together items like this for days I don’t wanna cook. 👍🏻
Where's that garlic grilled cheese you were making in that one video? That looked so good!
Glad I found you on You Tube and thanks for sharing your Tik Tok Lazy Trader Joe's Meals, I love to get cooking ideas!!
Oh YUM!!! I love Trader Joe's and will definitely try some of your ideas here!!! 😍👍💕
Also beef bulgogi with the vegan tzatziki in a pita with all the toppings makes it Greek 😂 it’s so good
Yummm!!! Great idea 🎉🎉🎉
I do this too! I use the TJ garlic flatbread
I need to try this!!
Yummy 😋 lazy TJ meals Chris. Hopefully there's similar or alternative brands for those of us who don't have TJ. Another awesome video and love 🥰 it.
Looks amazing and easy, right up my alley
Love your videos but can’t stand artichokes and tofu 🤢
I love quick throw-together recipes. I have the time to cook, I just fucking hate it lol
The vegetable biryani and the panang are also HELL of good wrapped in those pancakes! I have been doing that for months, but kind of embarrassed by it! Glad to have the validation!
I like the vegan ranch salad with some air fried meatless chicken nuggets on top. So easy!
I have to get the yuzu hot sauce! I saw it last trip to TJs but passed on it. I’m now having regrets!
I use the marinated chickpeas with rice and broccoli as a dinner regularly. It's quick, but it's healthy and as a bonus my kids like it.
I haven’t tried it but I can imagine the bag of falafel they sell in the freezer section would probably be really good inside the green onion scallion wraps too :)

Can you guys find the best recipe for potato fritters/patties ... thank youuuu!!!
Thank you for sharing! You’re the best!
This is such a great series! I'm a first time mom and it's been really hard to find time to cook in so having these quick Trader Joe's meals helps me so much and ensures im able to actually eat something substantial throughout the day. 😊
Yum! TJ's should give you a commission for this video! (PS - That beefless bulgogi is really good)
Great series! Exactly what I was looking for
Great ideas...no real instructions, times, techniques, etc.
Aw man, I was just there and now I'm going to have to go back and get more stuff!
You can call it "ingredient *assembly."* 😉
Saving this not just for the video content (really excited to try the 1st one) but for the great ideas in the comments too!
These are fantastic ideas!! Thank you 🥳🥳🥳
I even have most of these in my freezer right now!! 😀😀😀
This is one of my favorite series! I am pregnant, chasing a 2 year and we both work fulltime. We need shortcuts! Also we just recently started to implement more plant based foods in our lives and this makes it so much easier. Thank you!!
You are a brilliant, brilliant, millennial. 😊
Please keep making these videos❤
Ty
Great ideas
This is literally the exact kind of Trader Joe's simple meal video I was looking for....thank you, lol 🎉

My favorite lazy TJ's meal is the vegetable biryani + the garlic dip. Adding the garlic dip in is a game changer!
One quick TJs meal is mixing the frozen multigrain vegetable medley mixed with the sriracha baked tofu cut into small pieces
Idea! Taco shells + frozen hash brown pucks + canned refried beans + other toppings.
Thank you for the tips!
I wish I would have seen before my Trade Joe's run yesterday but oh well 😂
My store only had the Scallion pancakes today, and they have egg and didnt look like a wrap (looked more like an omelette. I'll have to go back to check again for the Green Onion Pancakes
One of my favorite trader joes "meals" is buying their ginger soup brother, throwing in veggies and the vegetable gyoza for a kind of dumpling soup
Yes! We do this too ❤
Do you have any more details on the ginger soup? This sounds right up my alley, but I've never tried it!
@@elizabethmacdonell It's called the Miso Ginger Broth and it's in a 32oz soup carton :)
Do you cough off camera when you’re eating or just on camera? I didn’t notice until you mentioned it a couple of videos ago…😂
Scrambled tofu on top of the Japanese Fried Rice would be great.
FYI I have made all these recipes as I am trying to simplify our meals as family planning. Life savers! Hubby loves these recipes so much and they don't take all day for me to prepare!
Yes!! The Japanese fried rice and mandarin chicken is one of my fave mashups from Trader Joe’s!!! Always get a couple bags of each when I go!
Love those ideas! 👍 Perfect options for days when i dont have anything prepped but dont necessarily want to jump to take out
We are obsessed with TJ beefless bulgogi and those scallion pancakes omg so good!! Thanks for this new series!
I love this type of video! ❤ I recently discovered the peanut and crispy noodle salad kit, and love making it up with some chicken less nuggets, green onions, and sriracha. I feel like there is probably more that can be done with it!
No trader Joes where I live. But its still fun to watch and dream.
Super ideas!! Love me some TJ when I can get back to the town that has one.
Thanks since I'm getting ready to move and have decided to only eat easy easy meals these ideas will come in handy.
please make this a series! as much as i love watching other people make home cooked meals on youtube, i am quite a lazy cook and tend to lean towards quick and easy. usually stick to wraps and sandwiches because anything between bread is good. :)
This would be a fun series with different grocey stores, Sprouts has a lot of their own brand of vegan items as well
I actually love non recipe "recipes" they somehow becomes less stressful if you just need quick ideas for meals lol, really enjoyed this video!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THESE!!!!
I love this!! More vids like this 😊

Sadge no trader hoes in Canada
