Best way to explain why the T-rex didn't catch up to her is to say it's been confined for a several years, it's old, and it probably didn't know what to make of her. The T-Rex in the third movie is not the same one from the second. In the commentary they say that it is an adolescent. This movie was enjoyable for what it was. It's not amazing but I do think it is good.
I dont CARE what Cinema sins says (right or wrong) but this was one of the few best movies of the year! And now you can see "everything wrong with" RWBY season 1 and 2. XD
Still wondering how they thought Clair and the kids were following them into the forest, when the mercs run away from the raptors, you can see the mercs get into the jeep, and you can also see Clair and them were still at the paddock when the bloody merc got killed by Delta.
1:26 actually the T-rex and the Spino wouldn't even fight in the first place. The Spino actually hunted marine animals rather than land animals, and liked staying in the water. They would have no reason to fight
well to be fair that logic could apply to the flying dinos as well Pteradactyles (especially in this movie) are more like ancient pellicans than birds of prey like owls and eagles yeah they're probably mean as shit but the likelihood that the mutant dino would send them on a rampage just by wrecking the habitat that was designed to their needs doesn't sit right with me. Even in the first movies there weren't exactly wires and netting over the fences those things have existed long enough to know that eating humans for them is about as useful as a lion eating a bug it serves no purpouse and most animals don't just attack without reason. ( except for cats versus feet of course)

The biggest sin about this whole franchise is that they always have get Costa Rica wrong, for example in JP 1, they put the capital, San José, as a coast city!!, when it's in the center of the country and surrounded by mountains. But we still love this movies, even we have an animatronic dinosaur park, it's called Dino park. It's awesome.
She didn't out run a t-Rex because it wasn't running she was moving too slowly for it to expend that kind of energy. Plus if it did run after her it would step on her immediately.

i know this is a late comment given this was uploaded in 2015, but ive caught a fly before, it was in 4th grade flies are actually pretty easy to catch all you have to do is not move for a certain amount of time and those bastards will get cocky and fly even more in your face thats when you quickly jerk your hand twords them and clamp down on them, the only problem is when i caught it the teacher said no you didnt -.- so as the stupid 4th grader i was i opened my hand to show her and it got away :/

The point about apex predator and being in natural order was pretty much wrong. Firstly if you take one T-Rex and one Raptor then the raptor isn't much more than a puppy dog, the strength of raptors was based on their teamwork in the pack like wolfs. And secondly many of these dinosaurs never met eatchother in the natural world order, they didn't life in the same region or even in the same time, so the indominus rex wouldn't have had any impact because of its differentness and if you after this still want to go for world order wouldn't the humans be much more a problem in that than the indominus rex? The first Jurassic Park was so good because it didn't try to make ppl or pets out of the dinosaurs, it respected them as what they were in the primeval times. Everytime I see anything from Jurassic World I can only think, how could they turn the dinosaurs into this puppet theatre.
