Before this meet, she had covid and she stayed at home for almost two weeks without training, then she came back to the gym and she had only two weeks to prepare these routines. She's going to upgrade both bars and beam, this was only a test because it was the first time for her doing all around since rio
I mean....... First AA since Rio? She is looking really good after just fighting covid etc. I was impressed! Her landings on floor were so clean - minus the last one. Looks to be in the right place, room to improve, but still right in the mix and not far behind. Mia regina!!
Lots of power, but numerous form issues that she's going to have to unlearn after doing the vault incorrectly for years. It's like she actually has more power than before her injury, so she doesn't need to rush the skill. She's getting a great block off the table. She can stretch out her legs fully since she has the airtime. Doing that alone would probably clean up her landing issues since she was over-rotated.
VAULT = 5.4 BARS = 5.3 BEAM = 5.6 (if the rings are credited...) FLOOR = 5.9 I don't think she will qualify through the AA but she could definitely be European floor champion
@@good_vibes_only_1895 I think they did, but her coach didn't listen. USA and PanAM judges failed Kara by rewarding skills she didn't really complete, though. It's a shame since she has a beautiful look on beam. Her coach has ruined the careers of many talented gymnasts by having poor routine composition and lack of preparation. No gymnast of mine would be going to World's with ring skills like that.
Extraordinary young lady. So impressive how she has kept so competetive at this level for sooo long. Especially after fighting major injuries and is Covid-19. And she's Gorgeous 😊
Damn I hope I can be like that when I'm 30 not to mention still going after injury post Rio 2016 and A PANDEMIC!!! Also although she missed, very clever last pass that gets the front acro series and still ends with at least a C element...very smart
I agree with all of you: apart from the little misfit here and there, Vanessa has got what it takes, and we're right behind you. A real competitor, tutti frutti molte bene bravo!😃💖👍

Wow really good, everything is better ! Except that I don't understand that last pass on Floor, it's too much ! She should switch the 3rd and the 4th pass, the Front Layout into Double Tuck (1 1/2 twist here) requires big concentration + power + stamina, last time she barely had time to finish in synch with the music and doing the low choreo on the ground only at the very end of your routine when it's almost over, is not smart. She should do one after the Ferrari jump maybe ? Probably the best option, would be to bring back her old 1 1/2 twist+Front Full cause it will have fewer form and landing deductions than the Front Layout into Double Tuck, and she would only lose 0.1 in the D-score which is worth it ! Hope they reorganize it to maximise her chance for a medal podium in Tokyo !
@@doctor4011It would be better if she replace the split ring leap with a sheep jump. I also think she'll bring back the bhs+full twisting back tuck because she's training it.
I am so impressed with the longevity of her career-such an extraordinary athlete.

Such a fighter !
She appears to be in better shape than before her major injury. She still has loads of power on floor!

Her double double on floor was *chef's kiss* 😍.
The dismount was terrifying!
Such a champion! All my respect to her hard work and dedication.
Yes Vani!! Love the planche mount on beam!
That’s the best I’ve ever seen her do the DTY. It was very powerful and clean.
It blows my mind that her DTY is better than ever.
She is upgrading her bars routine, that was only a prove, her routine in the europians will be more difficult
VAULT = 5.4
BARS = 5.3
BEAM = 5.6 (if the rings are credited...)
FLOOR = 5.9

I think they downgraded only the split leap ring here, she should take it out..

hey dty is looking better than ever
I don’t know, it still has poorer form than most of the top athletes nowadays.

She's currently training a bhs+full twisting tuck. She might compete it at euros

Omg was the floor even padded?
Curious, lol if she didnt salute the judges after floor,, what would have happened? Gymstery? :)
It's think she would have lost 0.3 for not doing it.

That fall was funny
Has she lost weight? Great to see her competing at her age : )
A little bit. Two years ago she discovered she have an autoimmune disorder and after starting the medical care she lost weight.
Woof. the judges are going to roast her E Score on UB if she does it like that In Tokyo.
honestly not bad, her bar composition reminds me of gage tho lol
How so? I don't recall any GAGE gymnast doing all the turns on the bar. GAGE is known to have awful composition, and I don't find this awful.
