      If you want bang for your buck, get Holika Holika aloe sunscreen SPF50/PA++++ less than $10 on Amazon if you have Prime and you get more than double than what these other brands give you in these small bottles. SPF has to be reapplied and the ones she reviews are great but wayyyy too small for more than face application which is infuriating

    I live in Korea and I'm so disappointed that so many of these brand aren't even sold or available to buy in Korea at all. It seems that many "K-Beauty" brands are only created for and marketed to US/western buyers. You put me on to the Heimish All Clean balm a few years ago and I love it so much! It's only sold in the big Olive Young stores and I'm always on the hunt for it when I run out. I find it so ironic that I'm moving back to the USA next month and I'm excited to try the Korean skincare there since so many of the brands aren't available here 🤣

    • @Randompotatoes-qs7bm

      I think it’s because things need to be tested rigorously to be available in Korea. It’s totally not fair. This came to light with the whole purito sunscreen scam.

      That is wild to me! So Americans are getting fake k Beauty that wouldn't meet Korean Skin Care standards? (According to another poster who said higher standards S Korea may contribute to this.) I hope you enjoy the US and the skin care maybe we should swap and I can go there and try real K Beauty Products. Then we should start a UA-cam Channel and talk about the differences!!! 😅🤗

    I fell in love with Haruharu wonder. It's really improved my skin. I have combo sensitive skin, so when I use products that say it's for sensitive skin, I always break out in a rash later. Haruharu wonder easily made best friends with my skin. I went back bought the entire line when it was on sale 🥰 Tried the fermented blueberry antioxidant cream last night, woke up looking like WOW.
    I have tried other k brands, I was gifted Belif Aqua Cica Bomb moisturizer, but it made my skin break out bad too.
    Edit: 1 month later, still using Haru Haru Wonder. I could probably do without the Oil based products but everything else is just 🔥SO GOOD. I normally have a monthly hormonal breakout, one big ass pimple on my chin, but this this month there is NOTHING. Face is CLEAR. WOOOOOOOOO!

    Just a note: always be sure to test sunscreens on your skin if you're sensitive like me! Even amazing sunscreens can sometimes react with your body chemistry!
    I personally had an allergic reaction to Isntree's sunscreen. I'm one of those people who has never been good about wearing sunscreen, so after hearing you sing its praises, I gave it a go. Unfortunately, I reacted badly (forgot to spot test, oops!). I got rashing around my mouth and eyes, and everything swelled pretty badly. I'm not sure if it's my underlying dishydrotic eczema that got triggered or if I just have super sensitive skin, but definitely always skin-test, friends!
    I've since bought the Biossance mineral sunscreen, so I'm hoping I'll have less of a reaction with a mineral sunscreen instead of chemical. Crossing my fingers!

    Thanks again Cassandra!! Another informative video! I ordered a haul of Korean skin care a couple of weeks ago. It's going to be delivered today!! SO excited! I am getting the frag free Haruharu. Although I can't stand the taste of Kombucha, I can't wait to put this on my face! (For anyone who is interested, I ordered the "Skin Saviours" set plus a bottle of TIA'M Bakuchiol. Look for coupon codes for even more savings!)

    I was determined to use up the skincare I had but then I went to Stylevana (UK) and saw all the reductions on things I wanted to try and succumbed! However, I wish I'd read the comments on their Facebook page as Stylevana in the UK doesn't seem to be great. Things take ages to get here or just don't arrive and there little or no communication from them. Am regretting buying from them now.

    I didn't try the heimish cleansing balm, but i tried the pyunkang yul one, and i was really shocked at how well it melts waterproof makeup, also i don't always find necessary to do double cleansing because it doesn't clog pores, no pimples from it.
    For the mask, yeah the skin1004 is good but but the pyunkang yul moisturizing sheet mask is on another level, i didn't find any mask to leave my skin as the pyunkang yul sheet mask, the only problem is that it is more expensive so i rarely buy it, but it plumps up soo well.

And I have a biiig problem because I already have every possible K-beauty to choose and I just look like you thinking what will I have to leave behind once I can not take everything. Help.

    Holika holika has sunscreens from their aloe line and I love the aloe soothing sun cream. Might have gotten the name wrong but it's lightweight and doesn't sting my eyes cuz the filters are all newer ones. Although it's also a matter of formulation cuz Paulas choice ultra sheer daily defense spf30 doesn't stings my eyes at all despite using old filters like avobenzone, homosalate, octocrylene (which usually stings my eyes a lot) and oxybenzone. Man oxybenzone pulled through so far tried two sun products with oxybenzone and it hasn't stung my eyes.

    All of your sunscreen recommendations have niacinamide. Could you possibly do a sunscreen video sans niacinimide for us sensitive folks? Ideally us and kbeauty?!
    OK I commented with 1min left...I'll watch the older video just in case!
    Update: after watching 1.5hrs plus of videos I have two possibilities. I'm going to try cosrx (you said it doesn't pill plus when I checked out it was on super sale).
    Cosrx aloe soothing sun cream
    Frudia ultra uv shield sun essence

      @missclown5343 Рік тому

      Niacinamide is fine for sensitive skin but people could have a sensitivity to it of course. So do you know if you have a sensitivity to niacinamide or do you generally just have sensitive skin? People also tend to be more sensitive towards products that have higher percentage niacinamide and I do believe that most k-beauty sunscreens have about 2% so it's a little more sensitive skin friendly if that makes sense?

    • @karlakramer6490
      @karlakramer6490 Рік тому

      @@missclown5343 It's niacinimide. It's typically specific ingredients for me. Honestly not sure of strength of it in products tested. Before I ever realized I did break out in hives from it and that it was in everything I would test products...I would then have a reaction and identify the niacinimide. Strengths could play a factor but they were just a general moisturizer and eye cream once upon a time.

      @@karlakramer6490That's must be tough considering so many product has niacinamide in it nowadays. I would say look into Japanese sunscreens they are also really good. I would personally recommend maybe Sun Aqua moisture gel SPF 50. I do not believe it has niacinamide in it so hopefully it could work for you😊. It is also pretty cheap which is a huge plus in my book.
