Probabily my favourite part of a rally event is watching the cars leaving the starting line. And this thing it's even better when you can record both modern rally cars (WRCs, Group A etc) and historic ones (Group B, Group 4 etc) during the same event.

Wow absolutely love that new mic. You used your binaural mic here again didn't you? What is the name / model of that mic again and about how much do they cost?
I'm still using my Canon DM-100 microphone for all of my future videos. If I'm using the 3D one I'll put it in the title of the video ;) Anyway it's called Soundman OKM II and the price goes from 150 to 200+ €
Thanks kindly for your reply ! I was surprised at how directional that mic sounded hence my confusion but than again I was using halfway decent headphones and usually don't.
***** Something I've always wanted to see was someone who does the kind of motorsports video work like yourself (and honestly you're the best and so prolific without a doubt) ..someone to use a high speed camera for like launches for instance. Or rallying on a technical corner. So little footage like that has ever existed.

Does some1 know how does they doing this vibrating sound of exhaust while starting ? I don't mean rev limiter, when car is starting on green light on the low/med section of increasing rpm's You can hear like bouncing the sound / "laggin rpms" ?? On the movie You can hear it on 0:23-0:25 / 0:47-0:51 / 1:25-1:26
