If they don’t they ain’t meant for you. Not everyone you date and get with will be the one for you. My last relationship was my worst one I thought I was gonna be too damaged to be loved again. But I focused on my future and what I need and one day I met my beautiful girlfriend just out of the blue and I felt that feeling I hadn’t felt in so long. Sadly most of the modern dating scene revolves around those things/platforms. Im a millennial BTW. I don't care for social media that much. Whenever I put myself out there things tend to come to a screeching halt when women my age ask for my social media accounts. The fact that I didnt have one for years was a massive deal breaker for most women my age. Its q major bummer to be sure. But thats told me that the vast majority don't have their priorities right IMHO. Or aren't looking for a genuine connection.

Being weird and texting and calling someone obsessively is creepy and makes you look desperate. My mom used to date a guy that would call and text her every 10-20 minutes. It got to a point that he would call and end it because he had something to do, but end up calling her again immediately after. He was a major interruption at work and ruining outings. No matter how many times she told him to stop, it continued and she ended up blocking him. Come to find out dude lied about being sober and was actively doing drugs that worsened his compulsiveness. They stopped talking and she blocked him. It’s nothing wrong with contacting a girl especially if you BOTH expressed interest in eachother. But don’t call and text and random times of the day because she might be working or busy. Leave voicemail or a couple of texts, and find out what times she’s available, but also be mindful of her free time. Nothing is more annoying than ppl calling for hours repeatedly while you’re out spending time with your family on your only day off from work.
