The Isle Royale Jr is the smaller bother to the full size Isle Royale. While capacity on that pack maxes out at 81.5 litres, capacity on the Isle Royale Jr is 48 litres. And again, this is expanded capacity which means all the straps will be set to their longest setting and the bag packed as full as you can possibly get it.
Like all bags in the Isle Royale series, it features construction of 18oz waxed canvas, has a double canvas bottom, an axe sleeve, 2 pockets, 2 slip pockets, 2 areas for lashing and compression and a map case in the top of the lid.
The shoulder straps are padded buckskin, and all high-stress areas are both rivetted and sewn. The Isle Royale Jr makes an excellent everyday carry or day pack.
