I miss the Bill Belichick press conference moment!
There will be so many more opportunities now between McAfee's show, and Inside the NFL for some awesome Belichick moments.
He’s gonna be I San Francisco in 2025thats why he didn’t commit to any deal this season
Rich u got the best podcast of them all imo
The idea that Bill would join the Cowboys to be micromanaged by Jerry Jones is comical.
You tell that to people and they go, "No, Jerry wants to win! He'll step back!" And you laugh in their face because there's nothing else to say to that level of delusion.
Bill wants Shulas record. You'd be surprised what he would put up with. If cowboys are only option next year HE IS GOING THERE.
If they don’t mention the Cowboys at least once it’s not the Rich Eisen Show…
As a Cowboys fan I can say that I'm 63% positive that Jerry wouldn't give up control. However, I think of all the people that know Bill's ability to win with decent offensive talent and fantastic defensive talent, Jerry knows. The Cowboys have a stellar defense with a very good offense. If ANYONE can win a Super Bowl with less it's Bill. So in that way I am 37% sure that Jerry would give Bill most of the reigns so long as Jerry Jones gets to take all the credit if they win a Super Bowl.
The story Rich relayed on Bill asking Mean Joe Green a question is pure Bill. He's quick witted. If you've watched him during practice he asks his players what would they run. He would keep rejecting their suggestions until they hit on one Bill knows will work best and tells the players to run it. I bet he knew what Rich was thinking and decided to ask a question Rich would never guess.
If I had to guess I would wager it was probably because Bill was a young man at the time. The steel curtain was at its prime and he probably always dreamed of meeting. Mean Joe Green. Bill's love for the '50s through '80s era of players is so deep and authentic. He probably just wanted a moment to Fanboy
@@MAJ0ROCEL0T Bill was 19 when Mean Joe Greene was drafted by the Steelers. Bill's first job in the NFL was in 1975 with the Colts. There's no doubt Bill was able to watch MJG from the sidelines.
That CW joke was GOLD, Rich!!
I don't know anything about football. I'm just studying up in advance because I'm sure this is going to come up on the Bill Burr podcast.
I miss the Bill press conference bits on this show... find a way to keep it going whenever he is in front of media... please!
Yes. Appearing on Inside the NFL will definitely make him a more appealing coaching candidate. When Bill is relaxed, he’s utterly engaging and charming. To quote Ripley, “Believe it or not!”
Someone needs to ask Billy B. about how he would coach/play and prepare for the new kickoff situation
I think Bill is done with coaching I definitely can't wait to see him break down certain teams offense and how he would play them
Great line up for inside.
Why does Rich feel Bill w/o the stress of winning a game, creating and maintaining a team, and being a GM, is the same as Bill with all that on his plate? Most people can be cool as a cucumber when they're not loaded up with important responsibilities and constant pressure to succeed.
Exactly. Look at Coach Saban during the draft. He was super chill and he looked like he had a great time talking about the different prospects.
And he is enjoying his 100 million dollars, free time and his 24 year old sweet thang.
Maybe he won’t return. 24 year old girl, Comfy Broadcast job, lots of money. Hell I wouldn’t go back!
Only 14 wins away from Shula for most all time, 26 if you don't count postseason. There's a reason if the right situation appears
And no one will hire him after he went out of his way to sabotage his young quarterback! He knew he was never gonna be the star in the modern NFL, and it triggered him so badly he burned the franchise down so it could all be about him!
The boys feeling spicy
My prediction is that Belichick will have such a good time doing shows this year that he decides to stick with it. No stress, no pressure. He'll realize he has a damn near untouchable reputation as a coach, so there actually is nothing left to prove.
Kinda looking forward to what he brings to the shows this fall.
I didn't even know this show was still on.. once it left Showtime I lost track of it. Nobody wanted to pay for Paramount plus. It's a shame because it used to be the best nfl show on tv.
Awesome
I remember hearing talk about why no one is hiring Belichek and they would be stupid not to. Maybe the guy wants to take a break. Maybe he doesn't want to coach anymore. After all he has done, it would be exhausting to start new.
All this tonight.... on the CW..
The NFL Network needs him on the pre-game show.
I dunno...is anyone really that surprised that Belichick is more engaging in the studio than he is at a press conference? The "I can't believe you would even think to ask me a question about my team or a game we just played" thing has always seemed an exaggerated act (same with Parcells, who was/is also a terrific TV guy). I think this will help him with the next job IF he didn't get hired by Atlanta or considered by other teams based on his press conferences and not what his teams have done without Brady, scuttlebutt about how he runs things and is like to work with, etc.
Dude people need to accept Bill is not going to get another job as a HC in the NFL.
There is a high, high probability that Bill will never coach again, and this seems to not be on anyone's radar. How quickly we seem to forget that both Bill and Vrabel were fired because owners wanted control of their team back. How soon we lose sight that the Falcons passed on Bill as well. How quickly we forget that Bill spurned the Jets in 2000 in favor of the Patriots all because Robert Kraft promised Bill full control. Him never getting an opportunity again is equal to him coaching again.
No HC has ever coached at 72 years old. It's no coincidence that Saban, BB, and Carroll all retired at once, it's because they're old as hell for a HC lol. Weird how many people seem to think he will absolutely be back to coaching.
Peyton Manning, Chris Long, Belichick, and Chad Johnson would be beyond perfect.
We don't need Ryan Clark, enough defense, we need an entertaining QB.
Make it happen
hes got a 24 year old girlfriend. does he really wanna come back and coach? thats probably what every gm and owners are thinking
They're fun for a few months. And replaceable. He wants to win a few more games.
He’s not married to her and he may want the all time wins record - he loves football and cares about his legacy. He may have moved on to a 35 year old by the time he coaches again.
The CW bout to be 🔥
Belichik and Burrows. And let Bill be Bill.
He's 15 wins short of the record. He is definitely coaching again.
I think he will get a front office job before he would get a head coaching job.
The Bellistrator's coming back. Yeah! 🙌
Bill does not way to go back to coaching. His son said that he wants to do TV. Good for him.
I absolutely disagree with Rich's analogy. Just because Bill can turn on a little personality in the studio in no way means that he would change the way he is when he coaches. I mean, do you think Bill is a grumpy old fart at home or with his family? Of course not. But when it comes to football, he's never going to change, and anyone who thinks so is extremely naive. That's why nobody hired him this year, and one season in the booth, no matter how entertaining he is (and I have my doubts), nobody is going to want to hire him next year either for the same reason.
CW Sports is actually becoming a thing, huh?
All roads lead to a podcast with Bill Belichik and Tom Brady.
Never ... his "way" is dead! Everyone has figured it out!
Bill has a chance of improving his image (he shows his personality more - like at the draft, he has fountain of youth poon tang) - if he wants the all time wins record he can probably get another coaching job.
I'm 38, and I won't even talk to a 24 year old. They don't know anything
I'm 37 and I have friends to talk to. I don't need a ran-through, traumatized beezy my own age.
Never get dudes with this way of thinking.
Here one out left field, all of a sudden USA university hire bill and nick saban co head coaches idk why Lou holtz would be AD or something lol
How about after 2024 season; Jets fire their HC and hire Bill Belicheck.......!!!? LOL
No way he would work for Woody. it's the reason he left and went to the Patriots.
been saying it since he didnt get a job..... put bill and ernie adams in a room for two hours breaking down games on HBO. dude needs to share that mind.
The Giants, he spent 11 seasons or whatever it is with them. Give the guy a three-year deal maybe four and see what he can do. 🤷♂️ Bring Peyton Manning in as the OC 👀
What's crazy is that Ocho is going to be the nicest to Bill out of all the players. Chris Long and Ryan Clark have talked so much trash about Bill in the past
Del Tufo’s laugh makes me laugh lol
Coach Belichick is a few months younger than me and I have been retired over 10 years. Maybe he just wants to wind down.
Got that CW money.
Belichick going back to the Giants next year.
There is only one way for Bill to win another ring. - GOAT Brady.
Jerry will never hire Bill because Jerry will not lose control of his franchise at this age.
Maybe Inside the NFL will have a “Bring Your Girlfriend to Work Day”
The parts that scare me are that it said CW and Ryan Clark, cuz Ryan has been ruined by ESPN &Stephen A Smith. Ryan is about as bad as anyone not named Kendrick up in Bristol
Looks like Bill ain’t going back to the NFL!
If Bill went to the Bills and won the SB would he be loved by the fans?
Funny Bill gets ousted because of only one way todo it, but Jim Harbaugh gets praised for the same thing . . .
1:38 I liked your story, TJ.
He's gonna be the browns coach again.
@@softjones3128 stefanski running out of excuses. I'm pretty sure bill has a myles Garrett poster in his man cave😂
Bill!!! Bill!! Where’s your girlfriend?! The 24 year old one who is a 1/3 of your actual age!! We wanna hear from her!! Cmon!!!
Bill Belichick needs to work with an indy studio to develop a competitor to Madden. The cheat codes are built in.
Bill is gonna sit for one year and if Kyle Shannahan don’t get the 49ers a Super Bowl this year guess who’s coming to San Francisco BILLY!!!!!!!!!
That show is now unwatchable with the three horrible ex players. It used to be must see TV when it was on Showtime. I tried watching the new one for ten minutes, and had to turn it off. I don't think Bill is going to make it watchable either.
I don’t think he will be a head coach again!
👍
Belichick coaching Buffalo next year if they don't make it this year.
Chris "Overreaction 'day that ends in y'" Brockman 😂
Belichick to the Chargers in 2025. book it.
“Who Cares” lol Go Bills
🦬🏈❄️
He should stay retired.
Going to the Cowboys
He's not looking to coach again guys. The "Bill-run" is over 😉
Should be good except for Ryan Clark..
Why return to coaching he’s having too much fun off the field
I think Bill's going to get addicted to talking football with his boys every week and going home to his own bed every night. It'll be fun to watch.
Bill should clicker review Super Bowl 52…
Could a female ever be a head coach?
Once he's suckled off the media teat Belichick will NEVER coach again. He's into easy stuff now; 24yr olds and pop culture / media money.
Inside the NFL has nosedived in quality since it left HBO. The analysts are worse (actually maybe the worst in television) and they hardly show the real star of the show anymore.... the highlights.
If he coaches another team he will not have as much success
stop it Rich stop it. its soccer,
Is he going to bring his crabby as, surely attitude towards the media with him?
Total hypocrite.
Forget that… what about marshawn and Gavin Newsome doing a podcast together
This is a joke
Jets need him because they NEED a dominant coach who demands discipline as Belichick does!!!!!!!!!!!
That “Bill’s watching a lot more CW these days” burn was 🍒 🤌
I hear the high pitch buzzing
I thought the sound guy said he fixed it
