- I decided to switch the Bosch E-Cat Power Assist from my Catrike Expedition to my Catrike 700 recumbent trike. It was a simple task but there was a problem to contend with and that was setting up the speed sensor from a 20" wheel to a 16" wheel. I've solved this problem by using a 'hack' I found on the internet by not using the sensor with the 16" wheel but with the crank. This method also did a work around of the 20 mph speed limit built into the Bosch system.

You have an older 700. The newer ones have 20” front wheels. I don’t because I have one.
Yes I have the 16" front wheels, if I had the 20" front wheels I wouldn't have to 'hack' the Bosch.
I'm sure It's nice to have both. I'm debating between the 700 and Demont. I've been on the 700 for a few minutes. The dealerships in my area haven't had a Demont in to test ride. My eyes says 700, but my body might say Demont. I'm 6'6'' tall, I'm not sure if that means anything these Trikes.
Jim, I'm short 5' 3", I like the lean angle of the 700 seems more comfortable to me, but I could live with the Expedition . My riding friend likes to sit almost straight up in his HP Velotechnik Scorpion (similar to the Demont in my opinion), he's around 5'8". So it's what you body wants, I have no plans trying to race this trike, it's all about comfort and I'm very pleased how the 700 feels riding it. Good luck with your choice.
@@jakebuzzman3024 I'm 99.9% percent sure It's going to be the 700. Thanks for your insight.
