Completely agree with the quality of life assessment. I just lost my Mother to cancer. The last thing she wanted to do was sit by a pond and watch the ducks. Such a simple thing to want, unfortunately she was too ill to help fulfil her wish. Enjoy your life. Money will count for nothing in the end.

Raoul's rule of thumb from Crypto, of buying projects that are at least 70% down but have not gone bust, may need a bit of refinement. Otherwise, it is a rule of thumb which may help somebody collect dead projects which have not gone bust.
Goldman often are the smartest people in the room (and sometimes the greediest), and they are hunting around crypto for opportunities....could be a positive
For the sake of humanity, I really hope that Raoul is correct that nothing is going to stop the exponential trends. I think there is something very very big that could stop progress: climate collapse. It may happen before we have time to allow these technologies to play out.
