Vanya was forced to think she was powerless, Klaus was mentally tortured as a child and went to drugs, and 5 was alone in the future for years before he was hired to be a hitman. All of them suffered the worst, all of them were forced to be alone. all of them understand each other more than even Luther and Allison. Klaus knew locking Vanya up was insane, Vanya and 5 helped each other when no one else would listen, 5 and Klaus are odd but still get each other. i just thought it was worth mentioning.

Who else was kind of struck by 1:05? It's like Klaus forgot what Five is and just saw him as someone small in need of protection. I thought it was quite sweet--especially from someone who passes himself off as a lethargic junkie.
maybe he just still saw him as his brother. they held klaus back when five came out of the portal and he held five back when they were fighting. they do care even if its a bit of a bizarre way of showing it usually
or maybe Klaus thought five was really dead. think about it, klaus would have tried for years to see 5, i think he was shocked that 5 finally appeared until he saw everyone else staring
well yeah but Klaus is actually one of the least agressive and in a way most caring and non-judgmental character of the group. He isn't up in your business like Luther but I feel like of course he'd kinda try to spare a child. Course he still thought of Five as 13yo - he looks it. So I noticed this small moment in the first episode but now, rewatching, I'm not surprised. He was glad to see everyone, was against Vanya's imprisonment, understood that she would struggle with her powers, and went to help Luther even though - despite what Ben told him - Luther wouldn't actually go out of his way to help Klaus in a similar situation. I mean, Klaus was right when he, while kidnapped, told the killers that the whole house wouldn't even notice his absence)) If not for Patch's call, they'd continue not noticing for 20 more hours. Even when Diego found an effing dead body in a room where his brother was supposed to be held, I don't remember him trying to rally everyone to find Number Four who was still MIA.

I actually wouldn't mind knowing in a possible later season what happened to Ben... Personally, judging by his statue mentioning darkness inside it'd like to imagine how he summons a creature that the creature actually attacked him, ripping him open maybe.. Maybe dimming the creature as it comes from his chest causes great pain to himself! Wouldn't mind hearing other theories as well!
E some people think that Ben committed Suicide. Some of the support of the theory is: When Klaus sees dead people, they’re usually bloody or in some way representing physically how they died. But when he sees Ben, he appears perfectly fine. Which makes it seem his death was not a physical/bloody one. Along with the quote on Ben’s statue, the “darkness inside” could mean both the monster living inside of him along with the demons in his head. But that’s just a theory. 🤷🏻♀️
I thought they would have brought it up in season 1. I believe, if I'm correct, that Ben was still alive when 5 left. Ben was also not there when 5 got stuck in the future so I thought he would want to know how Ben died. The thing is, he never asked, so did 5 just not care or did he already know? This makes me wonder how old Ben was when he died, he is portrayed as an adult/teen when Klaus sees him, but his statue is a child/younger teen. Unless they made the statue younger than him when he died? Or maybe, Ben ages with Klaus, as if he isn't fully dead, a part of him is still alive and living on through Klaus. If Klaus can bring him back and touch him and get others to see Ben, then maybe this could be the case. Of course, these are just some questions/theories that could all be (and probably are) wrong.

According to the show, Ben died 13 years before current events, which would make him 17 at the time of his death. Five disappeared 4 years before that at the age of 13. I have my own personal theory of why Ben has a shadow and can still summon ghostly creatures, as well as not having a mark on him in Klaus’ eyes. He isn’t actually dead, just in the same dimension as his monsters. Perhaps he lost control of them one day, and in order to save the rest, he let himself be pulled in. Since death could be like another dimension, it would make sense that Klaus could also see Ben. That could be the reason Ben can get through when the other ghosts can’t, ie. when Klaus is coming down from a high, but not clean.
I've watched several TUA music videos--many of which I've saved in a playlist--but this one has a different energy than them. Less burdened, but still meaningful. I like it. I like it a lot. The images are crisp and clear, the music fits the theme wonderfully, and the ending scene with Vanya dancing in sync with the music? Perfect. Absolutely perfect.
