That's true. because the Supreme Hunter stated that if he consumes Alex Mercer He would be able to withstand and tank the Nuke on it's own and survive and he was able to regenerate into a puddle on the floor without any outside biomass on it's own.
The Nuke is estimated about 5 times size of the bomb in Hiroshima and the Supreme Hunter can withstand it on point blank and can come out unscathed.

Alex domes the fuck out of the Resident Evil verse. Beings the likes of Wesker, Mr. X, Nemesis, Lady Dee, Mother Maranda, etc. Are good fights (some of them). But are essentially fodder at the end of the day. Alex is too versatile and powerful to lose to them. Nevermind Prototype 2. But Post P1 Alex Mercer should be strong enough in raw base strength alone to dismantle basically anyone in RE.
None of them are "fodder." No reason to be purposely antagonistic, but if you're going to say that, you won't mind me pointing out the fact that the _Prototype_ franchise is not even fodder level compared to the Resident Evil franchise, and that every single one of the RE characters shown here are 10x as iconic and well-loved as Mercer.
