So much of music production is knowing where to Draw the line or to keep going down a certain creative path. This guy has mastered that. The first track perfectly exemplifies that: - Why isn't the climax longer? Or with lyrics instead of just screaming? - why does he Sandwich that exquisite climax with gorgeous wistful Piano scales, instead of mix it with some interludes or other instruments? - And then he goes on to do this for an entire album, when most in this genre only manage a SINGLE heart wrenching track, only to fill the rest out with tired conventions. It's, my God. It's Just, a truly beautiful Mind at work!
Уже пару лет слушаю музыку на этом канале. Все благодаря треку When the first snow fell... И на разу не пожалел. Огромное спасибо и продолжай в том же духе.
The track "her voice in the rain" by ser is a good one. "A most" is a masterpiece for me as are many songs from sadness. Anything from deep within meticulously crafted without restraint leaving the creator open and wounded are true works of art
the most memorable thing about this band is that ive listened to it hundreds of times. but i never remember any of the songs. because im COMPLETELY zoned out the moment the music turns on 😂
There isn’t clarity. They’ll all say there’s clarity, and even they know there isn’t clarity. It’s like some morbid plot twist when you realise, clarity is a Harlequin Novel. That in itself isn’t clarity. A paradox to be sure, and that’s how you know it. It’s the paradox that says, lent in the experience, there is not one iota of clarity. There’s been times, as I watch the rain move in over the shore and like a lovesick puppy, Night moves in so closely behind that you can’t even figure out how to say that you saw both the rain and the dark come ashore. Those you’ll say it to will think “oh, yeh, well that makes sense.” And you’ll want to slap them. His Holiness the Dalai Lama even would he heard saying “Did the darkness bring this rain? Was the darkness pushing it? Or, was the rain so lovelorn in its ability to make the choice to be happy, that the Rain having refused to let go -- dragged the darkness in behind it?” We do things to cope. Does the rain do those things as well? What understandable string of words would be shot from a cannon and be completely unrelated that we STILL would assume, in our surrender, “ach, yeh there it is. The darkness like the sadness, behind the rains do follow. To show us we share a similarity? Or does the rain have this intrinsic affinity to be so esoterically emotive? Would it matter or change things, if I knew the answer? Or would the rain and the darkness arrive like the newborn of some misused sedative and a Fleetwood Mac song? Or is sadness something, far worse than all that, be a manifestation of what has been the Genesis of our inability to know the difference? One would hope not. If that were true, it would mean that a palliative depression has finally devoured the last of our heart? This is the definition of despair - because if our sadness, the resulting sedative and the heartache of the song are three separate entities, we have no choice but to realise that we are the sadness. It’s there when one realises, the loss of hope provides only the reality to know Without hope, there is no hope… of finding hope - therein we learn, surrender. We fail to see surrender as as vehicle that allows us to know that we become hope, sadly as it fades. Losing hope isn’t losing hope. Losing hope is becoming the loss, that is the final breath of hope. You see? There are worse things than losing hope. We… could become the thing. The moment, where we are Hope as it becomes lost. We learn hope was once a living breathing tangible things - that is now interred and lang syne lost in itself. That place, is the physical location we call purgatory. The undertaker of silver lined sadness. We become - the assailant of what we learn we had been meant to be. THAT is, verbatim, what hopelessness is. A paradise lost. Abandon all Hope, ye entering the breach, the now, the Here.
I find it strange that people cry when they feel sad. I mean, I know it is normal. And I respect the idea of it. It just feels so alien too me. Like this song Rain. I get overwhelmed with determination. Like fighting that boss battle. Even when you died too them 3 gillion times already. You just want that one win. Smashing that keyboard feels...... Note: I have never smashed my keyboard.
