Wish I could’ve been there! I will say though, I think I prefer John’s solos several years ago vs towards the end. They used to be much cleaner and went with the vibe of the song in my opinion
I’ll always love the hell out of John Mayer for detouring his solo career for a few years to do this.
And he crushed it in the process. Paying respects but adding his own flavor.

Love Grateful Dead’s versions and they will always be the #1 but John does Jerry right here. So much respect given in those solos to Jerry’s style
