VERNACULAR PRESS ACT:- It is a act passed by LORD LYTTON on the model of irish press laws , for better control of indian language newspapers. The main aim of the act is to control the printing and circulation of seditious material. It provides the govt extensive rights to censor report and editorial in vernacular press.

31:25 louis fisher was an American biographer and he said that non cooperation movement was negative enough to be peaceful and positive enough to be effective..from the line negative enough to be peaceful means becz this movement become violent as we know about chauri chura incident so the negative point of this movement was that it somehow was not peaceful and from the line positive enough to be effective he means that the motive of this movement was effective that was to bring hindu and muslims together and to taught indians a lesson of denial and self-rule
