That Ralph Lauren store at the start looked awesome , i liked that staircase too, wow is the only word that can describe it😯There were so many nice and beautiful window displays along your walk that it makes quite difficult to mention those all ,but those hanging chairs what looked like an christmas ornaments were great looking😎Thank you for sharing this enjoyable and relaxing walk A K🙂👍!!!
AK is bringing us visiting high-end paradise going shopping in NYC....these stores are worthy of attention....it brings back the joy on Christmas shopping 🛍 🙌 a long life of fame, if money is no issue...😂thanks AK for showing us around these streets....🎉😂
Thank you! I used to live on the Upper East Side on East 77th Street and East 91rst Street when I worked as a fashion illustrator! A trip down Memory Lane!♥♥
Ralph Lauren has the best designed stores amongst the luxury brands with really great visual merchandising IMO. It does make you want to go in and stay awhile, especially during the holidays. Always nice to take a stroll down Madison Avenue through the UES. Also love the Park Avenue Christmas trees they put up all along the avenue to 96th Street during the first week of December.
So I saw a pillow in the Ralph Lauren store that I really liked. I even made several phone calls trying to find this pillow which was not found. I just now discovered that you recorded the RL store in the 2022. OMG had me and the employees on a wild goose chase. I'm too embarrassed to go back and admit it.
Thank you! This vid fits right into my manifesting abundance through focus and attention. I’ve manifested two major things in recent months. Thanks for your vid!
Ralph Lauren has such a cozy and nice interior décor. ☺ 7:10 Ladurée makes delicious macarons, and their window displays are so cute! 😋 26:55 OMG, the red bears are so adorable! 🧸😍 Thank goodness it's free to window shop virtually of a rich neighborhood or else I'll be broke! 🛍🤑💰 Thank you for sharing this shopping tour, AK! 🤗
I had some Ralph Lauren coffee downtown Chicago and it actually is pretty good. Some celebrities just put their name on product and it’s not very good but his coffee was excellent. I had about two or 3 cups.🤣☕️❤️
I'm so glad you showed us high-end window displays. I really enjoyed seeing them. The Ralph Lauren store was beautiful and would make a spectacular home. I hope you show us more detailed windows in the future. I'd love to see art gallery windows of NYC too. In saying that, what a bunch of conservatively boring clothes for the most part, 99.9% of them are just plain Boring! lol I wouldn't wear most of them if they handed them to me for free. In the Ralph Lauren store the only dress I sort of liked was high up on a staircase landing. The black and silver dress with a high-rise cityscape scene. I liked it because it reminded me of a large piece of pottery I painted only mine was more exciting:-) The white dress with the black polkadots and black jacket was kind of cute, but I still wouldn't wear it. As an artist, I wouldn't even wear the abstract art designed dress at Oscar de la Renta. It was a fun and incongruent window display with the beach sand and the ties. Lol What relativity was there between the two? That's what made it fun and thought-provoking! What a contrast between the homeless man with all those colorful fabrics draped over his cart. I actually found his display of color more intriguing than most of the window displays:-) Versace had interesting sheer and wispy fabrics and artistic dresses when Gianni was alive based on photos I've seen in vintage magazines, but even Versace has lost it's luster along the way. The clothes you found "vibrant, interesting and experimental," are based on the late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, so hopefully they are more artistic than most:-) I thought the little girl's metallic silver dress with smocking was cute, but if I were a Billionairess, I'm afraid Madison Avenue would simply go under if everyone felt like me. Sometimes less is more:-) 🧚
I know! Really some conservatively boring clothes. Honestly, I feel the only people who buy that stuff are snobs trying to impress other snobs. lol The people who buy it, their friends, no doubt recognize the high-end designer clothes and know just how much they cost. Ergo, it's the status symbol that's connected to the prestige of wearing the garment, not an attraction to the garment itself. lol @@erys6313
It’s amazing how many upscale luxury retailers line Madison Avenue in the upper east side. That rent can’t be cheap. I guess the well-to-do support these businesses by paying those exorbitant prices for those fabulous goods! 😳
Great walking tour because the architecture was so impressive, and the clothes, etc. are unattainable for me price wise, as well as many others no doubt. But it was nice to see what luxury looks like. I wonder if it's true that if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it. lol Even if I were rich, I'd like to think I'd be a conscientious shopper, lol

The RL store video from 2022 was outstanding. Last year less Xmas decor in store and this year not much at all. Very disappointed.
My pleasure, it's so interesting to see Madison Avenue and all the window displays
Thanks for taking us window shopping ak 😊
You're welcome

I believe I had read that the Ralph Lauren store was a former home. So you are correct by saying it would be a fabulous home.

Glad you enjoyed the video! I know many people wouldn't be comfortable wearing luxury clothing or accessories
When I visited Ñew York City many years ago I went into the Gucci store.

Great video, AK. There is nothing in the US remotely like NY.
Thank you very much!
@@ActionKid You're the man, AK. I like it when you run into Sifat too.
Ok, Action Kid I have to ask what kid of mini camera and stabilizer that you are using in this video is? It's so compact and crystal clear.
What is that outro song?
These are rich people brands, which I don't know of
same
I bet the rental space on Madison is insane
Hey AK! What's up?
I bet New York has lots of cool merch. Cool but spendy

It doesn’t look very busy in the city.
