The writers trashed Oliver to put Liam and Hope together… and they became beyond boring until Steffy was brought in to spice things up. Bell Jr was smart enough to realise that Hope and Liam were a yawn fest. The triangle was a gift to JMW, KM and SC… they all worked brilliantly off each other.
Eric adopted Marcus, because he believed Marcus was fatherless, after Eric and Donna Logan divorce Donna advised Justin that Marcus is his son, and Donna and Justin got married! Marcus adoption papers are invalid, because Donna and Eric Forrester divorced!
The dark cloud has been lifted until Steffy wants Liam after Bill refused to leave Katie for her. Say what you want about Hope, but she has dealt with Amber AND Steffy. Hope isn't as weak as some claim in the department of women wanting Liam when he was with Hope first.

Hope was so screwed up from having a mother like Brooke (which you can't blame her given Brooke's history) and couldn't commit. Then Liam started waffling back and forth after Cabo and it turned into the endless never ending triangle from hell. When Bell brought the character Wyatt on he should have just let Hope and Wyatt stay together to end that hell that keeps continuing.

I like how Marcus was with Amber and the baby and I also like how Donna was. And Justin is one of the coolest characters.
