My boss before from ABC stores Guam, now lives here in Las Vegas, his son needed his rear brakes replaced on his 2007 350Z.
Nissan dealership recommended rear brake pads and a rotor. It cost too much to have the dealership do it so he contacted me and I was happy to do it for his son.

I was very surprised to see you have a brake rotor machine in your garage. Ignore the negative comment about just replacing the rotor - you’ve got the machine so this saves your friends money when you use it and is more resource saving for the planet. It also maybe looked like you might have cleared out some space in your garage but not enough to bring in a car. I agree with another commenter that you really need to clear out the garage in order to bring cars inside and out of the sun and heat. Time to get rid of the junk or rent a storage unit! cool Angel looks like you have all the equipment, brake lathe, snap on torque wrench, your videos are cool and you help your neighbors and your a good father, Respect.
if I use pliers to retract a piston back in I always put an old brake pad against the piston . and re the rotors, I either change both at the same time I never mix and match new and old rotors even if the old one was resurfaced. when it comes to lubricating the brake pads I also put brake grease on the ears of the pads and on the caliper bracket too

I would have installed both new rotors. For the cost of that extra rotor it’s not worth putting brand new pads with the old rotor. Just my opinion
Agree but Angel is pretty upfront with his customers. Plus why have a Turing machine in your garage if all you do is replace new rotors?
hey did you not see him turned the rotor on the lathe, the surface is straight with no defect and its still with in tolerance for thickness, new pads are a must after that.
@@edau69 i did. I would have still changed the rotor. Probably saved him 40-50$ max
