Instead of squeezing with your knees brace your outside foot on the peg (turn left push on the right foot peg and visa versa), it's much less fatiguing that way and you feel more stable. I would love to have cruise control! Can-am did right on that add on.
I have the BRP Adventure Windshield on my Ryker and I’m really happy with it. At Highway speeds it really cuts down the wind noise in my helmet. I originally tried the smaller Sport Windshield. The difference is night and day. Congrats on your new ride.
Great video - exactly the content I needed. You and Coach Bob have alerted me to the fun of CanAms. I am coming to the end of two wheel bikes due to aged hip issues. Man, you must have some major experience in decision driving training. Very impressive how you're calling everything out as you're riding. I think everyone will agree It's not a motorcycle but they sure as hell are a ton of fun.
They are classified as a motorcycle. We bought 2 CanAm Ryker Rally during the Covid garbage. We ride up a 1 mile dirt mountain rd on ours to our cabin. Keep front wheels high on ground so center front is high you're good. Changed to LED, Brite whites because in the mountains in Virginia etc the deer are everywhere. We ride highway, mountains etc and never a dull time. 900cc engines, plenty of power for highway. God Bless and have fun all. Come on ladies, we all enjoy our own bikes as well as the men. Be careful out there.
Looking to buy 1 thanks for the information about alignment out the crate!!!! If I do buy one I will make sure I have the dealer do this as well before I take delivery.
Yeah, thanks. I've tried that. But what I am talking about is the foot peg itself - it is flat/level with the ground, but should be able to be canted backwards a bit at an angle. I also added the wider brake pedal. I think THAT is necessary, because the stock brake pedal is so small, all you can get on it is your big toe and the once next to it. With the wider brake pedal, now the entire ball of your foot provides stopping power.
@@ThreeBikeMike the bigger brake pedal on longer rides i found it to be in the way unless you have foot boards. i did a long trip on my ryker and found that to be an issue. #vincode17
Thanks for watching. I like the cover. I only wish they were not all black. I wish they were light colors, or even silver because of the sun. They are all form-fitting and not loose at all. Sewn-in elastic bands hold the cover close, down low around the tires, and two straps go underneath from side to side - one near the front and the other towards the rear. When I say they are form-fitting; because I have a luggage rack, the rack gets in the way of it going low enough to cover the rear wheel completely, but it still works. Here is a link to the one I bought: KEMIMOTO Full Cover Compatible with Can-Am Ryker 600 900 Sport and Rally Edition Upgraded Outdoor Protection Full Cover with Reflective Strips a.co/d/a2ppdpn
Don’t have to lean all that much on turns and you can miss man hole covers by aligning the outside of the front wheel just out side the corner cover so nearer the front tire or rear tire hits the cover.
On My 2022 Ryker Sport It has self canceling signal lights. They will not cancel most times changing lanes though. Can you drive this on the interstate hwy? Can you buy one with a windshield? Are these safer (more stability) than the trikes with one wheel at the front and 2 rear wheels? Nice video...ty for creating and sharing.
Yes - you certainly can drive it on the highway. I recently installed the adjustable tall windshield and it makes a difference. I think there is no difference between wheel configuration, but I have not ever ridden one with one wheel in front and two in the back. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Check the tires while they are warm. The air pressure will increase as the tires heat up. 28 psi on cold tires could turn into 32 psi when the tires warm up.
Yes. That is a given. But you do not decrease air pressure in a tire when it gets warm. What? You want them to be under-pressure when they become cool again? Your logic is off.

How tight can it make a uturn??
About 13-feet. Some residential streets are tight so I find myself pulling to the right near the curb, then backing into driveways to turn around.

Fine and no problems. Only needs proper wheel balance and alignment.
