Every now and then, amongst the petabytes of UA-cam and others you come across a hidden gem. This is one of them. I love the way you cover both the tech and the psychology so well. All very pragmatic and actionable stuff. And Psycho-Cybernetics... that book was prescribed to me many years ago when I was struggling with motivation. Time to order a new copy. Thanks again.
I have decide to take action, i don't have a laptop. This is my first step i have decide to take. Save money and get a P.C. I really want a change in my life this 2024, thank God i came across this video.
Can you also say something about E&O insurance, legal retainers, NDA's, SOW contracts, etc. In the tech and data fields, Errors and Omissions liability looms large, especially when you've acquired the mortgage, spouse, kids, and dog. 🙂 I recently ran into a challenge getting E&O coverage for a prospective project that involved data in a non-governmental, non-defense domain. Hit me by surprise, actually.
Hey Dave! Firstly thank you so much for what you do. I have a question though, I have seen discussions on reddit regarding doing data related freelance, and most of them said it hard to get freelance clients because the data is very important and confidential for any company, sharing that data to any freelancer might not seem like a good move. I would like to your insights on this, and I would also like to know what kind of clients usually look for data freelancers (is it big tech companies, small company, startups, etc). Thank you
You're welcome! Sharing data has never been an issue for me. You can always sign an NDA, start with a small dump, or work in their protected VM environment. Over the years, I have worked with companies of all sizes, from freelancers to enterprises. It's just about finding the right connections. Hope this helps!

Do you have good resources showing how to build a machine learning based product from start to end, for example: gathering data, analysis, model building, model evaluation, and presenting the results. I want to create a generic structure that we can use for almost all the use cases of machine learning.
Hi dave ,I would like to introduce myself .I'm from India and am from a non-tech/non-CSE background. I have never dealt with hardcore coding although I used softwares like MATLAB for my lab works. I have already completed my graduation in 2022 and now I want to start with AI/ML and do freelancing in it .I have been learning Excel and the basics of SQL for the past 3 months. Is having a software background necessary for starting out with Ai ? I really want to get my doubts clear on this .In india ,most of the companies or hiring managers only hire ai engineers with a software background. So, I want to learn ai ml and do freelancing in it .Please guide me ,it would be very helpful for me .I will look forward to your reply
Well it’s a choice you have to make - technically there is nothing stopping you from doing it. If you can manage clients for yourself why not. There are people who choose this route.
@@DrLalitaSaharan Thank you for your kind reply. I have spent months thinking about the eligibility screenings that one has to pass before pursuing a career in data science or AI engineering, especially in India. Here, 95 percent of the people who are entering AI engineering or data science come from a software engineering background. In most of the job openings, they ask for a technical or CSE degree and work experience, and there are no entry-level jobs for this role. So, I never consider getting a corporate AI engineer job in India. Instead, I am interested in freelancing and building a personal brand. The only thing that stops me from taking action is the eligibility screening for this domain. I can surely manage clients, but before that, clearing my confusion is really important to me.

Everything that you said about what you assumed I was doing at this very moment was wrong, everything that you were doing in your video here screams manipulation. Manipulative tactics like yours are not the best way to get followers.

It is not important to be software engineer to be AI and ML expert. You can start in AI with your experience and become an expert.
@@DrLalitaSaharan Can I go for freelancing as an ai engineer straight away without any corporate experience?

you said you have followed an AI degree, meaning you whole degree was focused on AI? what is the name of that degree?
AI must have been a major part of it. For eg, "Data science & AI"
When you say "bottleneck," the first thing that pops into my head is a bottleneck layer. Guess my brain is on a data diet!
I like my safety corpo easy job - I learn Data Analytics to have side projects and earn additionl money:) on the side.
Corporate job + some side projects is also great!
this video helped me so much , thank you
if you can do what he does i have a small job for you
Sure. How can I help?
I give no comments, no likes, no nothing. But you made do it.
