While I agree, the quests and feeling of the world being alive & something we care about are some of the weakest parts of the game I found the new rules quests downright annoying even when I skip them all!

Classes are beautiful but they need to add simple shit like dungeons, party finder for friendly content and less of "just do whatever"
Idk they great but personally I think ffxiv has them in terms of classes and longevity but this is a ftp game so yes I’d say your statement is valid
