Cattail was Glass Panes with a single Brown Candle. Corn was Bamboo with a yellow candle. Both are genius but I've seen the Cattails from someone else, I can't remember who, I wanna say Papa K or someone on EmpiresS2. However I have never seen the corn before and it's great! Totally stealing that xD

We had Phineas, Ferb (then Ferb died so we had Ferb 2), Perry (1 thru 5), Jeremy (1 and 2) and a Dr Doofenshmirtz! Phineas outlived them all and passed at 7 and was the sweetest lil dude. I miss my lil pack of guinea dudes and I feel for the person who has my parents house after them if they dig up the garden lmao
*To the person asking about spider farms and stopping climbing. Well you really can't with spawner based farms. However Spiders and most especially cave spiders are prone to drifting to the corners of the ceiling and walls. Because they are "climbing" they can stack up and avoid entity cramming which is perfect. Cut out space above the farm. Do a checkerboard pattern of stone and dispensers(facing down) in the ceiling of the farm in a 3 block wide ring coming out from the walls towards the center. There's no need to do the whole ceiling as the chances of a rogue spider in the center is super rare as they love tops of walls and corners. Now rig these dispensers up to a 5min timer that does a double one tick pulse, one to dispense the lava on the ceiling of the farm and the second to immediately suck it back up before it flows. This will set all the spiders along the top of the walls and corners on fire. They die and their loot falls and flows to you via the flow ment to push the spiders to you. Then the rates of the farm improve as there aren't 200 spiders with in the 9x9x9 area around the spawner, this will allow you to allow the spiders in the kill chamber (outside valid spawner spawn locations) to stack up to ridiculous proportions (cave spiders most especially) before killing them. So you can afk for 30min - 1hr while spiders stack up in the kill chamber but get killed if they climbed a wall to open up full rates again.

With everyone living so close together, I'm honestly loving the horse travel its so fun passing by other hermits whilst on their travels. Its working better than s8 when they also had the intentions of using horses for longer, but they were spread out a bit more somehow

Toon Towers is one of the best HC builds ever IMO. Up there with the second Mycellium Resistance HQ, the BDubs Castle, The Magical Village, S6 Nether Hub, and the Frontier Outpost.

In season 8, X made a horse stable that you could walk in and out of. It used top and bottom slabs spaced out two blocks apart to create a space that you could ride through but it made the horses ai think it couldn't move through.
I know this is a weird and tenuous link, but I learned today that the international ice hockey federation have banned Israel from the world championship, and I thought that was a really cool (pun intended) move. Ice hockey leading the way in sporting statements for human rights! And that made me think of Tango and his love of ice hockey and what a deeply frosty cool dude he is. Which is about 0.03% To be fair G is still on the way unlucky side of this, but unfortunately not really unreasonably so. 😢
Deliver the other (non scar) storage systems in a "Swedish flatpack" as Mumbo called it. I chest with parts from the factory and litematica instructions🙂

Tango, spiders can't climb on ice. I'm not sure if you want to go in and modify the spider spawner now, but any type of ice would solve that problem. Edit: nevermind, I thought you had built yours, but you said you only found a couple not that you built one.
re: nether hub. I feel like it's less of a necessity this season due to how close the hermits have settled? when you're within horsing distance of almost everyone, you don't really need a fast travel tunnel.
nether hub is also for going to other biomes/areas (like farms for some hermits) that are far away, and i think joe and doc are both based multiple 1000s of blocks away from everyone, so it would be helpful for them at least, and wherever the future shopping district is 🤷
7:59 if i were a dedicated MC player and somehow in the HC stream of things, i'd probably be the one Hermit living in the nether and making the hub (as my home). With how things are in the overworld (in MC's newest "updates"), i'm finding myself more and more, spending time there. When the Nether gets updated (and probably ruined as well as a result), i'm probably going to stick with older version of MC. The only reason i watch HC now, is because of everyone's amazing personalities, interactions and overflowing creativity, because every time i see the over world, boy do the updated terrain generation p!ss me off, especially in light of mods (name escapes me atm) that totally overhaul it and bypass it, giving the player an amazing and realistic terrain (to be read, this isn't because MJ can't do it, but because they don't want to). For shame that MS bought MJ, because the lead they have is not good. It's never been good anywhere they went. At least EA tries from time to time, MS never listened. Sorry for the rant, the Nether talk spiked me. :))
