I'm Trina, your host, and the catalyst behind the theme of our show-to demystify the term "hegemony" beyond academic circles.
As a coach, educator, author, global citizen, and Black woman, I navigate the impact of intersectionality within the hegemonic landscape that impacts my equity and freedom.
I focus on Mind, Body, and Spirit alignment and the importance of having a polymathic mind to connect all the dots of our existence, because the more you know the more grow. I want to help get to the root of why so many “isms” exist.
Joining me is Sahana, our valued collaborator, who brings insights from India's geopolitical landscape, delving into how caste constrains opportunities. She is a regenerative writer who advocates for pluriversal perspectives, actively challenging dominant narratives.
Finally Garry, a British white male with a unique vantage point from within the global industrial complex, within chemicals. Garry dances between leading a traditional international commercial and people role within the global extractive supply chain, and his ongoing personal journey of decolonisation.
Together, we aim to dissect attempts to obscure the truth and shed light on systemic issues.
