Let me guess... Dream and Blue are not gonna be too pleased to find out Ink saved Nightmare's life ? (possibly the rest of the Multiverse too) even though, I don't think as the Protector, it is wrong for Ink to also look out in this kind of way for the Bad Sanses. (some versions may even feel partly responsible for how they ended up since they could have prevented it had they stepped up against the Creators' will)
Plus, Ink is the one person in the Multiverse who have the ability at any moment to decide to give up on feeling negative emotions, but he doesn't, because he recognise those feelings are just as important and precious as the positive ones (at least my take on the matter) so, depending on if Nightmare knows it yet or not, you also have this part to consider.
