Question. I’m just now learning that the LES pressure is lowered and this is why ppl experience acid reflux so I want to first thank you for that question. But my issue is with the answer citrus fruit. I’m noticing on other platforms and google is mentioning that citrus fruit would put you at risk for acid reflux (lowering the LES). Why in the world would they say that?? Please enlighten me I appreciate your channel
Found citrus fruits and did not find fatty foods. Please clarify.
The question with the gatorade, would you give gatorade because that replaces the electrolytes that was lost due to vomiting rather than water?

Fluid will be low, but not hematocrit. The hematocrit isn't going anywhere w/ dehydration. You're not sweating it out or excreting it (unless you're bleeding) but we're not talking about that here. So w/ dehydration, there is less fluids. But the hematocrit is still there, right, so it will be a high amount b/c it is so concentrated since there is less volume of fluids.
